In the meantime, people have started getting their Burmillas, so we can live vicariously through them until our Aoandons arrive! ^o^
@avianAnnihilator Same here actually ^^; Aoandon was the first sort of "surprise" doll I decided I needed before actually having 100% of the funds lol having her paid off is definitely a weight off my shoulders. 4 months really isn't long at all in the doll world! It's plenty of time to get our Aoandons all planned out before they arrive ٩(｡•́‿•̀｡)۶
the surprise was a carry bag I also look forward to see the Aoandons, 4 months are not too bad a wait even if it is in the long side of things. ^^
@dollmien Oh man, I have no idea how I'm gonna style my Aoandon, so it's probably a good thing I'm getting some time to figure it out :'D I want to have fun though, so I'll be messing around with fantasy colours for sure! I want to do some more faceup mock-ups too, those are always fun!
@avianAnnihilator Oh my gosh same :,) She'll be a totally different style of doll than everyone else in my collection so I have to slow down and think about her differently...I'm excited for the challenge though! The resin wig in particular is something I'm interested in messing around with :-O You should definitely post any mockups or sketches you do for your designs by the way! We'd all love to see (✧ω✧)
@dollmien If I do make some and they're presentable then I'll definitely share! ^u^ Yeah the resin wig will be fun to play around with~ Not sure if I'd dye it or just blush it (though I love white hair so some minimal blushing might even be enough haha). Just paid off my Aoandon! Soooo excited even though I know there's still another 3-4 months to wait, but seeing everyone's Burmillas arriving is really awesome~
@avianAnnihilator Congratulations!!! We'll get through these next few months....somehow By the way, did sio2 give you any kind of confirmation for your final payment? I didn't get one and while I'm not TOO worried because they didnt send the confirmation for the first payment until the end of the preorder, it would still be nice to know for a fact that they received the significant amount of money that we just threw at them over the internet...
@dollmien Nope, none yet. I agree, it would be nice to get a confirmation at least within a few days of paying. My guess is they'll reply once the payment period is over (Nov 25th), and try and sort through all the orders that way? Like they did with the initial preorder period as you said.
I asked that question once, I don't want to miss a doll when I go to Australia next year XD Their facebook customer service told me that they have 3 regular email. 1. The one with pp address 2. Order comfirmation after the order period 3. If you requires a layaway and paid all, you will recive a payment confirmation email It seems their customer service is not very active though.......
@InMoreShines So they are supposed to send confirmation emails after paying off a layaway? That's kind of concerning....I checked and double checked my math and I'm 100% certain I sent them the right amount, to the right paypal account, with the correct notes attached to it

I will admit first of all that I don't know 100% what's going on with Sio2 but I do know they delayed the preorder for one of their dolls recently so some personal stuff may be happening for them.
