These dolls are magnificent! This is the first time I've seen this brand. I'm going to have to do some homework now. These mature faces are exactly what I'm after.
Can I just ask if anyone who has oredered their doll since I did on November the first, if you have actually received your doll yet? I'm just curious if you have your dolls from Dollfair or did you order elsewhere because I STILL don't have the doll that was listed as in stock on their website and I'm getting worried. Thank you
Have you contacted Dollfair about your order? It's not especially long for a new doll in general (I always figure 3-4 months for a direct overseas order and am surprised if it's faster than that) but the site does seem to promise faster delivery than that. . . . I got mine off the DoA marketplace so no real knowledge about ordering a new one.

This was a blank doll marked as "In Stock" on the website. I have been told the doll needed a new head cap but that was supposed to have been made weeks ago then had an email before Christmas saying it was being shipped out next day but have never heard anything since and not been given a tracking number. With all the aggro on the Dollfair/Narin thread on going, when I saw new people talking about their Briar's I kind of hoped that Dollfair were shipping stuff and fullfilling orders.
Would just like to point out, for anyone thinking of ordering a Sleetwealth Briar from Dollfair/Atelier Nouveau etc, that I was told that my blank, nude doll was the last in stock, and that this had a damaged head cap which would need to be recast. I was told that these blank, nude "In Stock" dolls would be removed from the website but I just went back to the link and put one in my basket, don't know if it would have let me pay but to avoid disappointment, I think people need to be patient and wait until the current situation with Dollfair is sorted out. I've waited 2 months now for the head cap to be recast and even been told my doll was about to be shipped over a fortnight ago but I've never been given a tracking number, so either it will appear on the doorstep soon or is still sat in the Dollfair offices, I don't know as .I've not had answers to emails, although, with the holiday season, I guess I should cut them some slack. I don't want to think the worst as many people on the Dollfair/Narin thread now seem to, but if you really want a Briar just be patient, check the MP for pre-owned and don't order from Dollfair until things are resolved unless you want to feel as anxious as I have since ordering.
I do know that Dollfair does not update their website regularly, I had the same experience when the Captiva Briar with the white facial tattoo remained on the site long after she had arrived here at home. When I finished my layaway she was shipped in a reasonable time frame, but that was a year ago and I don't know what's going on now. I do know they have a very small office staff.
I am Anita Collins creator of Sleetwealth Briar. I am no longer associating with Catrina Sanders of Dollfair/Atelier Nouveau and I would recommend that future buyers not purchase from her. Nor do I recommend artists looking to have their sculpture cast. I am working with a new more reliable resin caster to deliver the elf ear version of Briar. I sent Briar's elf ear head in August of 2009 and my master was kept.
I am fast coming to the conclusion that Dollfair has no intention of sending me the doll I paid for, am looking into if I can get a refund through Visa.
Thank you for sharing this difficult circumstance. In the Narae/Dollfair Waiting Room we're gathering as much information as we can to help deal with our problems. I hope you don't mind that I cut and pasted your post to the Narae Waiting Room. I wish you good luck also and hope your master is eventually returned to you.

Really sorry to hear that, I hope you can get a refund ok. It makes me so angry that Dollfair is doing this. Regarding an elf Briar, I have been waiting for one since Briar was first cast, so I am very excited to hear about this. When I first saw her I immediately thought she had fae-like features and would suit elf/fairy ears. BOL with the new venture
Latest development: Got an email from Jo Ross at Dollfair this morning asking for my address again and saying that she has been overwhelmed by the amount of things she has to do as Catrina is still ill. She says my doll is shipping in the morning and I will get a tracking number tomorrow. I will wait before celebrating as I have been here before, but will report here is I get the tracking number, and, gasp, the doll herself!
