    2. I, also, am trying to resist. I love Vito, and wanted to get her but I spent so much on Lati kitty!! So I will have to wait til next time. I just hope they still offer her in tan.

    5. is it completely insane to consider getting one without the faceup? I love the price of the basic doll, but then when I add all the different bits on, like wig and faceup it suddenly seems less like a basic doll price! I've painted my obitsu gretel head a couple of times, but she's so much bigger than these would be - has anyone here done face ups on this scale - am I insane to consider it? (only a few days left to decide if I want to resist!)

    7. If you're insane then so am I!! I've painted a small obitsu, using pastels and watercolour pencils and she's not too bad but I'm thinking of ordering a couple of tinies to have a go.

      I've seen lots of tutorials on doing large faceups but non for tiny - tinybear maybe you need to do a tutorial for all us tiny lovers ;):aheartbea

      Hey just realised you're in the UK too, maybe we should all persuade tinybear to run a course!!!

    8. My top tip ..start pale , then build up the colour
      I also use watercolour pencils for very fine detailing

      Use Mr SuperClear ...I have tried so many matt varnish over the years ..this is by far the best :)

    9. I have some MSC coming from hobbylink Japan - it was dispatched a couple of weeks ago, but it's coming SAL so may take a bit longer - Hmmm - you're not helping my will power!

      My mom bought me a second hand Trudy, the cry baby version with wig, extra hand and the wings :D She should arrive any day now she was shipped laster saterday.

      don't you just love mom's how think it's cool you have a hobby and even buy a doll for your birthday :D Me is happy =3

      another tiny, I really think I should sell my big girls, but I still love them too!!!!!! But this isn't any good for my purse:blush
      Tinybear please show your girl as soon as you got her, and with a tinybear wig ........I wonder what colour will be nice with her:D

    16. Oh wow. For those of you who are shipping, how long did it take? It seems not too long. Exciting! I have 5 days to decide if I order. But I am so jealous of wilkies. That's exactly what I want. I could claim bday present, if that wasn't my excuse for overspending on Lati....

    17. I ordered on February 24 and received an email last night from J'aime saying they would be shipping my small body Joan on March 26-28, with an apology for the delay. When I ordered my special Vito on September 21, 2007, they sent an email on October 17 saying Vito was shipped. I would have had her (he is a she now!) on Saturday, October 20, but since I asked for the package to be delivered to my work address I had to wait until Monday! :doh When I ordered my basic normal skin Vito, also a girl, on November 7, I received an email about shipping on December 3. This Vito arrived on December 5.

      I hope this helps with your wait. I know I am excited to have Joan join my two Vito girls! I think I am going to swap my basic Vito head with Joan, so I will have a regular and small size Vito, and a regular size Joan. :fangirl:

    18. I gave in and ordered Ara this morning - so excited. I may need some tips for her tiny face up when she arrives :) Can't wait to see all of the tinies shipping now - hope they all get home safely.

    20. the tan tiny's are so lovely, I love my tan bracken. Pink is great, or dark violet like her eyes.
