1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Snap on shirts? or Head off wearing shirts?

Jun 20, 2011

    1. I like the head off... it looks a lot more natural and I can take the head off in just a minute. Snaps just... I don't know, not a fan.

    2. snaps. I have to have some way to put the shirt on the doll because I have NO idea on how to take her head off and on.

    3. I'm still a noob when it comes to taking my Johnny's head off, so I prefer shirts with snaps in the back.

    4. Depends on the dolls !
Of my four human dolls, two have a faceplate, so I just remove it if I need to put it over their heads - without the faceplate, it's as easy as if there were not head on. For the other two, I take off my MSD girl's head because it's quite easy to take it off or put it back (nothing as easy as minifée but it's really pretty fast and not complicated), but I don't bother with my SD boy, whose head's always been a pain to remove and put back. In his case I do like having snaps on his t-shirts a lot !
So yeah, basically I don't really care about snaps or not, except for my SD boy :)

    5. I've shirts w/snaps, velcro, buttons, pullovers, have-to-take head off, some have-to-take HANDS off - just depends.

    6. Well it depends on the style/colour/look of the shirt/top. I don't mind buying tops where you have to take the head off even if it is a bit more of a hassle especially if I like the style of the top then to me it's worth it. I like tops where you can just do up some buttons, a zip or even if there is a little velcro at the back is fine by me. I know some people don't approve of velcro but from a practical point of view anyone that has problems with their hands or fingers such as an essential tremor or arthritis will find velcro handy. Poppers are satisfactory if you can press your fingers okay. Again it depends if you have limited mobility of your hands and of course what you individual tastes are.

    7. Snap on shirt or shirts with buttons for sure! It is never easy putting things on over my doll's heads, so if I must I remove the head least I damage the face up. Snaps just free me from any face up worry!
