1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Soom Aloha and Sob

Apr 29, 2011

    1. I am oddly infatuated with the WS one, that's a bit annoying and unexpected :< I just really like the face sculpt, so cute and curious, I'll probably be the only one who thinks this but he/she/it looks like a tiny Cass to me, and I do lurrrve Cass.

Also the unicorn horn has never really done it for me with Epidos, I covered the 'crater' with a wig, bit I did like his elf ears... and this little bub has both ears and no horn! Guh. Glad the ordering period runs until the end of May, maybe I'll treat myself to a blank centaur kidlet towards the end, it'll be my birthday not long after anyway hah. If I'm gonna buy my first tiny, might as well be a centaur I figure. :)

    2. Clothes and wig are now up for sale!

There's a picture of Aloa as human! Soo cute!
      I really want a human Sov! T0T

    3. Ahhh, noooo... My order won't qualify for the 4 payment layaway. :( Do you think SOOM will allow it if I ask? I can't afford a 3 payment layaway.

    4. You could always ask, they may do it :)

Also, I just noticed something. They call the little green one by two different names. In the title and in the Description/Options they call him/her Sov, but in the little story area when they're telling you about these two they call him/her Sob. Hmm... I wonder what her real name is?

    5. I don't know... but you should try and ask them! ^^
I guess that's better 4 payment than none! xD

    6. I'd buy Sov in a minute if they had offered him with a human body...Kind of disappointing since they offered the previous centaurs with a human body option :/

    7. Echoing what others said: I dodged the Soomed! bullet on this one because of the lack of human versions. But I must say, this is the first Teenie Gem sculpt that I've really had a strong positive reaction to, and if there were human bodies I would snap one up in a heartbeat. Yes, dodged the bullet.

    8. I thought I dodged a bullet, but then I told my boyfriend about Aloa expecting him to get angry at me for wanting another doll, but instead he was very supportive and actually encouraged me to get the centaur version!.....As long that I sold one of my current dolls that is. Which I'm okay with since I planned on re-arranging my collection for a while. So it looks like I'll be getting an Aloa! :D

    9. .....I might be in trouble, lol! I really wanted a centaur last time, but this time the price is lower (he only has the one head, maybe that's why?). What's more, I just sold a doll and have enough money for this baby sitting around loose. What timing!

    10. I really want one, but I just.. I don't know.
      Light greeeen. D:

    11. Asian people make no big difference between B and V ;-)

    12. I've run this circle down with them before and sadly no... they didn't allow me a 4 part layaway, saying that I needed to order for $500 or $600(?- can't remember correctly ^^; ) to do that. :(

I'm having such a hard hard haard time resisting that CW pony body!! I was dying how cute the little centaur bodies were, though I would put another head on it for my character... with cute horse ears. *^*
Ugh, I so hate to be short on dolly funds. T_T

    13. @babyelf - I'm an Asian and I actually do. ;)

Also, I think there is a human version. I saw one in the outfit page I think.

    14. There will be human versions released after the centaur sell out. Someone in another thread posted this info.

Hmm, just when I was looking forward to actually being able to save a lil cash, Soom decided to release the doll I want, as I want lol. Wonder if the green resin will be offered for Sov again?

    15. It's $500 and I'm only $50 under. I suppose if they say no I can opt in for the seam sanding service. Has anyone done this before? Do they do a good job? Is it worth the $60?

    16. I find sanding to be somewhat of a personal preference to be honest. I've only had one doll sanded (Cass) and Soom did an excellent job with her and was worth the money. I have also received a Soom doll on the MP and his seams were pretty bad, but likewise, I've also gotten Soom dolls where there was hardly any seams. It's rather hit and miss. If seams bother you, then I'd opt for sanding ... if not, I'd add eyes and/or wigs to the order lol.

    17. I don't like seams and usually sand them myself. However, I'm VERY lazy about it and I still have 3 dolls sitting around who need sanding... So I think I'll opt in for the sanding to save myself the trouble. That way I can paint her as soon as she arrives. :)

    18. I couldn't resist and am glad they didn't' offer an extra body cause I tend keep to fantasy parts and have too many human parts as is. So got Aloa blank XD I like better than pyrol. now I am waiting on 3 dolls ; ; all SOOoooom! ><;; lol but thankfully one of them is on second hand so I'll get that one before my birthday :D

    19. wonton: I've had the sanding done with soom. I find it is worth it if you are getting body blushing. You can always add extra outfit seems they have two fantasy style outfits this month
