Soom Aloha and Sob

I'm probably going to end up ordering Sov, but if they end up offering the human style with the ears, I'll end up ordering Aloa with the pointy ears as well, but they probably won't.

 

I stuck with cream white since I can easily blush it to look more another color if I want. also I got almost all parts in that color and would like to keep things interchangeable. (gosh the combination I could probably do at this point would be crazy) XD hehe I got waay too many soom dolls than I expected X.x;; lol

 

I asked Soom about whether these will be released with elf ears and in green resin and here was my answer:

Looks like my dreams of getting Sov like he is now but with human body has flown out the window lol. This is def telling me I should just cash my money.

I got the same reply from Soom, but I choose not to get either of them, I'm also replying to Soom if they're any plans on releasing elves and I hope they do. >_<

Hey guys, does anyone know what Soom's processing time is like these days? I want to know where to send my doll (I am moving off campus in mid July) I am getting Aloa!

Edit: Hmm, I just tried to place my order, and I got a "no data received; unavble to load the web page because the server sent no data" alert from chrome when I was pushing that last confirmation. Ugh. So did the order go through, or not? Wonder what I should do... Maybe try again, not in chrome XD

Edit: I would try with a different browser, I used to have trouble with the Soom website and Firefox, though it seems to be accepting my payments through Firefox now.

 

I really want the Sov head with a human body. I had asked Soom about it and I got the same answer everyone else got. I don't know if this has happened in the past but if there are enough requests for a human body with the fantasy head would they change their minds and offer it?

 

I joined a split for a taco when they were released. It arrive 1 week ago to the split leader, so that was approx. 2 months. No lay-a-way.

 

I... I think I'm getting Soomed now, should I be nervous or happy, really don't know. Sov is just effing adorable and that centaur-body has grown on me, seeing photos of Minette and Pyrol.

Also, I've been reading through the thread, and about the human versions and green resin, it would feel kind of weird if they say they're gonna release "these dollies" as humans but not offer the coloured resin since it would just be the one doll in that case, Aloa... little bit confusing response from Soom there

 

Thanks for the help, guys I sent it to my mom's house since it seems like there is an off chance it may not get here before I leave. I got my order through (blank Aloa and nothing else) by switching browsers, but now I need to send the paypal payment, I thought I did but apparently it did not go through Oh well, I will try again later.

Yes, they are the same mold, the human would just be different sculpted ears. And the only difference with Sov is the different resin.

 

Yeah, either check back later to see if it went through or try a different browser again. I've heard of people having quite a bit of trouble with Chrome and I even have trouble putting layaway payments through Firefox sometimes, try internet explorer if you have if, that always seems to work good for me when I can't get it through with Firefox.

Or if it is still not working you can sent it through Paypal directly to them(they have an address where you can send payments to them through paypal somewhere on the site), mentioning the order number and you name in the paypal message and then leave them a message in their Q&A letting them know you had to put the money through that way. I've done that before too and it works fine.

 

*sobs* I really wanted a Sov with the green skin, human body, and elf ears. ;; Not sure what to do now. I'm tempted to pick up the centaur and keep all my fingers crossed that they will reproduce the green skin again with the human body, but I don't know if that's a risk I'm willing to take. *sigh*

 

I love the face, but I can't decide between the two! Are we likely to get any resin comparison pictures, does anyone know? I've already got a Minette, so I'm leaning towards Sov, but I want to see how green he is before I decide.

 

I'm thinking a light green like their light blue was. I wish they would show some non blushed non photoshopped pictures of the green resin though.

 

Oh, I'm so glad that Soom is planning to release these as humans! Though I do like the elf ears... But as long as I can get a human version of this head sculpt, I'm happy. Now I hope it's a time-limited offer, and not number-limited...
