      I swear if I get this boy, and I'm pretty sure I am, the first thing I am do is hold the sword up in true He Man fashion. I'll giggle and my kids will look at me like I've lost it but that's nothing new anyway.

      I think I'll get the wings as well even though I've got a tub full of 1st grade feathers (Millinery) but I'd like to know how they put them together in case I want to make something like that for another doll.

      When I brandish the sword don't blame me if I point it at the cat and it turns into a tiger

      I utterly, utterly love his fantasy head. those EARS. OMG. I finally get a Chrom head and find one I like even better. Figures, doesn't it.
      Oh crap, and the sword. *sigh* It's Zel's sword, right there. Off I go, split hunting. What a maroon.

    5. Had no interest in this guy until I saw that profile.....THUD. Someone at Soom has definitely got the hots for Oz model Andrew Smith. First Idealian #1 that never got produced and now this guy. Need that head...:D

    6. I love the 3 part legs and missed out on these with Heliot and Chrom in particular...if Chalco had had this style of leg, I would have wanted him also.

    7. My boyfriend and I were discussing what, exactly, IS he? I told him about the "hairy legs and talons" bit. That's when he mentioned that talons are usually used to describe birds of prey. And with the wings, my guess is that he's some sort of fantasy bird of prey ^^ Or maybe a mix like a griffin as gelfling9uk suggested. He's just so pretty!!

      I'm getting the human head in a split, and one thing I thought I'd point out is that the human head seems to have the eyes slightly closed compared to the pointy ear head. It reminds me of Heliot, but reversed. Does anyone else see that, or is it just me?

    8. AmberLeigh - I've got two windows open on the Soom site trying to figure this out too, but after much scrutinising (ok drooling) I don't think there is a difference aside from the ears. I could be wrong though...^^

      What I DO know is that someway, somehow he will be coming home! >_<

    9. I have the impression that the human head is a dreaming head while the head with ears is the open eyed version. Be as it may I so love this sculpt ^_^.

Nightweaver and AmberLeigh - Yes, I see this point better now as if there were no difference other than the ears they could have done what they did with the Sphaler Mireu ears and made ear parts that were magnetised or something...sorry I didn't see that earlier. :doh Anyway, dreaming head is good!

    12. I love seeing what soom comes out with. Do they ever resell previous months dolls or do you have to hope someone sells theirs in the future? No way can I afford one right now.

    13. Yes, dreaming head is the right description. It's okay gelfling9uk, there aren't as many shots of the human head as there are of the fantasy head so it's hard to tell. I thought I was seeing things for a second there haha. But he is so gorgeous! I love his default face-up as well ^^

      mmxchris: Sometimes Soom has "Special Orders". For instance, if they did a special order for Obsidius, it would be the same head sculpt with a human body. He would also be in a different skintone, like whiteskin or tan. They don't re-release fantasy parts or the limited outfit, wig, eyes, etc. Here is their special order page: http://www.dollsoom.com/eng/shop/list.php?ca_id=10k0. You can compare those to the limited monthlies. They are less expensive because they do not come with fantasy parts. These are also limited, however. If you want a Soom that has already been sold out, limited monthlies or special order, you have to search the marketplace. It can be time consuming and more expensive than the original price because of their rarity and high demand. Hope that answered your question :)

    15. Excellent point! Has anybody asked Soom for blank shots of both heads? Also, did anybody ask them if the dragon ears are sculpted on or use magnets?

    16. I would love to see blank shots of both heads! I would assume that the fantasy head's ears are sculpted just because they don't show them being removable, but you never know!

    17. Another dumb question: I'm guessing the sword is only blushed if you buy body blushing? But they offer 2 types of body blushing (human and Obsidius). I'm also guessing the body blushing refers to what you order. So if you only order Obsidius and want body blushing you'd pick the Obsidius option. If you order both bodies you would pick the blushing you want for that body.

    20. The teaser pictures did him no justice at all O.O I thought I was all safe, but he sure is a pretty one! I can't not affored him anyway though, after I fell for Migma last month x) Would love to get his legs and talons at least :)
