Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     2. I hope he is a new size that stands better next to the regular SG's as Epidos does seem too small next to another 65cm doll seen here in a post by shelbelly in the pic request subforum. That being said, the poses of the centaur in post #15 of that thread are beautiful!

    3. Yeah epidos was little..which is why I'm thinking its definitely an idealian 51cm torso. They probably put him in gem because they already had a section "Centauroid Gem" XD and thats kinda where they sell all their fantasy part dolls.
      There's no mistaking its an idealian torso and Epidos's body x.x

    5. Yes, they improved the SG elbow joints but it seems almost everyone hated the improvements xD; I like them though. But compared to the amaaaazing arm posability of the ID, even those improved arms are terrible!

      And yes, sitting with the ID is near impossible. The only way you can get him to sit upright is to prop his hands behind him, to keep him from flopping backwards D: Sucks.


      By the way, has anyone else pointed out the lack of clothes on Zinc? XD; I wonder if he's just nakey for the teaser or if they're really going to release a doll with no clothes.

    6. No one has it yet :c the first Idealian51 was London who hasn't shipped yet apparently. at 51cm its got to be significantly smaller than a super gem though..but the joint where the horse body meets the torso is pretty much on the butt...and it looks much better proportioned though xD

      kaourika: he's a centaur, he doesnt need them :D hohoho.

    9. If anyone here has London already, and Epidos close by, then we can make a comparison. I got this from the Soom blog though... Here's London with the teenie gems :

      I still think ID51 is too small for Super Gem horsey parts.

      Just for fun, I found out that ID51 "bottom circumference" (I hope this means hips?) is 23.4cm while Super Gem's is 22cm. Super Gem has smaller hips, perhaps? But there are still 1.5cm difference. >.>

    10. How big is the super gem waist compared to the ID51 hips measurement? Because the ID51 is built like an ID72, he's actually pretty thick for his size. And after doing some comparing of measurements with some SD sized dolls, he's really not that much smaller circumference wise to some other SD dolls. He's just shorter.

    12. But the super gem horsey parts were too small for the supergem man parts. Epidos' proportions were part of the reason I didn't get him. His ponybutt was waaaaaay too small and spindly for his human torso. Zinc is an improvement in the size, but I kinda wish they had gone with a beefier horse rear to match his rippling body-builder torso. A Clydesdale or Percheron would have been a better model than his spindly little racehorse legs. Considering how beefy some of the bipedal hooves have been, it doesn't seem like it would be out of the range of Soom's sculptors to give us draft proportions instead of delicate ones.

      Then again, they probably did as little modification as possible... and it's really for the best that I don't like this guy. If it were a female centaur with draft proportions I would be selling a kidney to bring her home.

      If this is the ID51 body on Centauroid Gem body, then it's possible that Soom won't offer the human version. Offering a human version would be possible only if he's in the IDealian site. >.> If you get what I mean.

    18. Yeah, logic is kicking in with me also, only because I don't want variously sized mature SD dolls. If I had a collection that included say the Souldoll Vito range or Zaolls and indeed taller msd's, it would work out quite fine, but I wouldn't want a small centaur next to much larger dolls...He might be more affordable though if he is smaller.

      I wonder if this is why Soom delayed the release of the next ID when they promised a big guy coming later this Summer, maybe this was supposed to be their next ID, but they made changes that made it plausible for him to fit in with the Gems/Super Gems, hence the re-release of London so as to fill the otherwise long gap of an ID release? :sweat Apologies if that sounds confused!

      Still, if he is really beautiful as it looks like he might very well be - I may just have to start another sized collection of dolls! :)

      I do also want to know what he looks like next to SG and other Idealians, though how my dolls fit together is hardly ever a deciding factor for me XD

      Thinking about it, there really is fat chance he's an ID 51 body on the previous centaur body... but I just really hope that Soom made a bigger centaur body and they actually put a normail ID on it - not the 51cm line - as I'm dying for a centaur of that size. *^*
      I agree with Pazuzu though. A beefier and more heavily builded horse body would've gone greatly with this musclier human body.
      But I really love his whole look very much! *__*
      That being said, if he's ID 51 he's definitely out of range from my doll family so now, I just can't decide if I would be happy or sad if he was. XD; ...Probably happy as my funds would be safe. LOL
