Oh no...Idealian 51...which means I will actually consider this guy. *sigh* Just when I dip my toe into SD waters, this guy shows up.

 

How I wished he would be bigger then Epidos... huh ... but he looks lovely!

 

Anyone else have the weird thought that they made a 51cm body just so they could slap it on a centaur lower half? I've been wondering why they would make a really beefy body, but have it really short.

Other than that, he kind of reminds me of a remake of Heliot from a distance, just on the centaur bod. It's probably just the horn though.

And would his head fit on a Super Gem or other Gem body, since he's got the Idealian top half? Not sure of the measurements on the necks. Because if anything a split is possible if they don't offer a human option XD.

ID51 head is the same as the Teenie Gem head, which is 6-7 inch in circumference.
Of course it won't be the same as the Super Gem head, which is 8-9 inch in circumference. >.>"
They don't offer the human body because it's an ID and the human version will only be available through the ID website.

 

My apologies ><. Didn't mean to make you repeat yourself. I didn't see anything about the neck size in the previous page, just that it was an Idealian51 upper bod.
Hopefully they offer the option on the Idealian site soon. I can imagine that it would be a bit down the road, though.

I really need to see pictures of this body now XP. I can't imagine something the same as a teenie gem head on that smexy of a body. I can see the head circumference being the same, but the necks?

So ideally (no pun intended) it might work to stick his head on a Supergem body. Might be a little floppy though...

 

It might look too pin headed. ^^;;; The Super Gem males have very small heads, actually. They're not 9-10 but more 8-9 inch in circumference. I don't think it will work... >.> But you can hope that Soom will release the human version at the ID website.

 

I'm not sure how to feel right now...on the one hand I'm happy that he is the smaller size as this takes the pressure off my current finances, on the other hand, he does already look so beautiful I would hope not to regret passing him up a little later...size isn't everything () I know, but I was planning to only have 3 SD dolls for the time being.

Gelfling, you can always hope that he shows up on the marketplace later, when you've thought about it more and you have time to save up a little money .

 

So, as he is upper part ID and lower part SG Centaur, do we have a guess-timate of the overall height. Those that have Epidos do you know the measurements of the horse parts?^^

 

Oh yes, I know! Just I'm gonna have to say 'No' at some point otherwise, they're just going to take over what small amount of space I have free in my room. The most I've ever had altogether at the same time was 4...not a huge number, but in a small space it's a lot! I'm going to have to get really picky about who I bring home.

 

Epidos is about 60cm in height, which I suppose the same as this one, or maybe even shorter? XD

 

shouldn't Zinc be shorter and a little smaller than epidos?
I'm trying to compare both the figures... I'm going crazy trying to understand if Zinc is misproportioned like epidos is, or not.
the point where the horse and the man joints has been improved, and he would be amazing even without clothes on... I still can't understand about proportions.
they seem better, do they, or it's just me hoping they are? XD

Just by what we can see from the one pic, I would bet on Zinc being way more in proportion than Epidos.^^

Yeah, way more proportionate, which makes me somewhat sad for all Epidos out there. >.> I love Epidos, have one myself, and I'm kinda glad he's human, but nonetheless, Epidos is beautiful. We're going to see lots of Epidos get thrown out of their houses in a couple of weeks. D:

Oh, I hope that doesn't happen! Epidos is still very beautiful and I love his human form which I would gladly have in my collection too, he has a lot of charm and sweetness about him. If they had only made his horse parts larger, he would be perfect! Sadly, I remember seeing many Unikenta parts up for sale in the mp...

I think the speculation with regard to Heliot similarity is what has sparked great interest within me for this guy. Heliot was super-pretty and feminine for a man, I know not everyone likes that, but I really, really do!

 

I'd hate to see that any doll is unloved because a better version came out T.T.

If you stare at the promo picture and epidos' nekid pictures on the website, the Idealian51's shorter torse makes the horse body look longer, which does make him look way better proportioned like everyone's saying . Epidos' tall torso just makes the centaur body look really short, and pony-ish.
