Fishcake, you're right- the photos are really adorable I already have an idea for a photo with her- I get the feeling this is gonig to be a long four months! I also already plan to buy my two Topaz girls that extra pose type body, so I really hope they do a free choice even for bodies this year *fingers crossed*
Second_banshee the SO Topaz was pinky like this body is, so the new body might be a perfect match for resin. I think Gneiss has a little bit of the Topaz nose going too, that little cutie-pie tilt. If Soom does another free choice (especially with some flavor of Sphaler head or Breccia), I may spend the whole year eating Rice Chex.

Eeh I was so worried I wouldnt be able to get her but I just had some luck at work and will be ordering her this weekend. I...I love her. I'm a huge mythology nerd and the snakes and goddess theme just to it for me. Not to mention her face seems to have far more personality to me then a lot of the sooms in the last set. She just seems a mix of wise and funny and motherly all at once. Im not overly fond of the face up so I will probably do it myself though but...yeah. I'm in love.
Exactly my feelings on her, Lintila! :3 I've always liked the old Mediterranean artistic convention of portraying all of the ladies as white-skinned and the men darker, though, which is why I decided to pass on Gneiss. All of my girls are white.
I can definitely understand that. I'm actually glad shes in normal skin though because I have three cream white msds and all my others are either normal skin or tawny lol so the white skins just photograph terribly for me now unless on their own.
Eeh shes officially on layaway now I'm so excited. I really like the new body and cant wait to do some compares.

So, I told myself I wasn't going to order her and be good.....I'm going to get her *hangs head low* I decided I didn't want to pass this by. I would hate to see all the owner pictures coming in and find I really love her, especially with custom face ups, and then have to deal with the crazy prices on the MP. I'll just suck it up and work overtime. As someone on here said earlier, how can you say no when SOOM has such a flexible layaway plan !?

You know, I was just thinking....that staff, anyone getting it? I'm unsure if I am going to or not. Some people say its too cartoonish. I think it's really big but maybe a different blushing would make it cool. Does anyone know what color it is underneath the blushing? I want to say the ender ankh was black underneath. Also, do you think the red ball is blushed red or is red underneath? I'm pretty sure the staff is resin as the ender ankh staff was.
I think the staff is sort of ns resin color all over, and the red thing was just sprayed (there is some overspray on one of the supports in the promo pix.) The staff may be one of those things that looks cooler in real life than in the photos--I think painted gold and black it could look pretty nice--the detail on the snakes is decent, I think the solid color is a little plain for it. I opted not to get it, just to keep the overall price manageable.
