I tried on my Cuba's jeans, shirt, and boots, but don't like the way they look, so have reinvented his character. Had to order a new wig as the one I bought him looks goofy. It's always something with these dolls. I'm making him some new clothes to go with his new character and maybe I'll be happier with him next week. It's been raining and cold, so not a good time to paint him. Chienism, I love your guy! I think I will love mine too, once I get him done.
Hello! I hope I'm not intruding. But, I would like to share my Cuba. He arrived a couple days ago but I finally had time to have a mini photoshoot today. I ordered him with his default Face-up. I thought I would share in case anyone was curious since everyone so far ordered a Cuba with no face-up. Your guy is wonderful, SuperJuliet! I'm beginning to regret not getting the default faceup as it is so nice, and it is taking me a while to get around to painting my guy. Chienism, what size eyes are you using? I assumed that I had some eyes that would fit from my enormous eye stash, but nothing looks quite right to me; either the eye fits, but the iris is too big, or the iris looks good, but the eye itself is too small for the eyewell and leaves gaps on both ends.
You guys, I have to thank everyone for all the gorgeous Cuba spam! I kept looking at owner pics and confirming that he was not a mistake! >__< Thanks to you I was able to pay off my Cuba today without any guilt! Now comes the wait! I'm so excited for Aaron to come home!
linakauno, he wears 10mm but there's a liiiittle bit of gapping. I fill it up with white sticky tac though so it's hard to see. : ) Yay congrats, guls207!
Love Cuba! He's the only one I didn't order (except the first London - Steampunk as I missed out on him). I really like him. Nancy He is gorgeous! Love that mask over his eyes - and perfect eye choice too! Love that last pose!
Here's a quick picture of Cuba with Aria Blair. She is much shorter but she is wearing her flat feet. The heads are compatible. Aria is only taking orders until the end of the month. Blair and Serena are until the tiny heading.
A quick question for those of you who have Idealian51's, if I may. Do Idealian51's look alright with 14mm eyes? Does anyone have any pictures of the head with 14mm eyes? I know the website states they take 12mm, but I am curious as to what they look like with larger ones. Any help would be grand!

I bought blue and light violet also, but I really like the green wwith his skin color! I think these are the same as the ones Kemper sells. I have bought them from Kemper also.
Finally I finished face-up for my Cuba... Only took 2 months lol. I got tired of his head rolling on my table... : D I also opened his eyes a teeny bit. I really need smaller eyes though, those are 12mm and I want more realistic look. I still haven't ordered them because I'm waiting for this European retailer to get them in stock... OMG He's GORGEOUS! You did an awesome job! I'm still waiting for my Cuba! I paid him off over a month ago but since people started getting theirs I just thought mine would have been at least halfway ready. To be fair I DID order another doll (minigem) and a few limited outfits so that may be adding to my wait time. I'm so glad I can drool over all the handsome Cubas here!

Wow I am loving all of the very very sexy Cubas shown here! I wish now that I had brought one home. However, I did recently score another of the small but mighty - does anyone else have one to share? Introducing Lenardo (aka Aspen the Violin Player) Was lucky to get him fullset with Soom face up, but decided to try something different - I love the Iple shirt but it is JID and too small. Gotta sew for him. Need wigs, too. Would love to see other Aspens, please?
Could I request some spam? I still waiting for my Cuba (61 calendar days and 44 "working days" since I paid off my order from OCTOBER 28th! I ordered 2 dolls but this is INSANE!).
I think the wait starts from the time you pay off your order and layaways seem to get tucked in between other production. It is great that they offer layaway when you don't have the funds for a doll, but it does result in a longer wait. I'll try to get some Cuba spam to tide you over!
