A little long in the leg (but I like that!), and a little wide in the waist (get a belt or a tight shirt like this), but much more affordable, and faster shipping than Soom or Iple! Woot! Jeans! Glorious jeans (that fit!)
This is good. I don't need the jeans for my guy, but I have a girl coming who will need skinny jeans. She's about 56cm.

I just took pictures of my London to show some of his range of motion. He is single jointed and his only torso joint has a very limited range, so his poseability isn't very good in my opinion. He is very stable in the poses he can do and is very detailed and beautifully sculpted. The NSFW pictures are here if anyone is interested. The measurements are available on the Soom site here. 12mm is Soom's recommended eye size.
Thanks so much for the info TGC! Are all the ID51 boys single jointed? Lol I guess I saw the elbow joint and just assumed the rest of the body was double jointed. Still I don't mind really. I'll be getting my Cuba in the spring most likely because he's on layaway right now. I'm still a bit nervous about the size but I think I'll be ok with it since I have 4 JIDs and he's not THAT much bigger than the boys. I'm really intrigued by the tawny resin...to me it seems like a dark NS. Has anyone seen it in person or owner pictures of it?
The only example I have of "tawny" is my Galway: A "dark NS" is a good description of it, I think. Knees are single jointed, elbows are... 1 1/2... lol Hard to describe. The notch in the upper part of the elbow peanut, holds the tab in the lower part of the forearm, so he can hold his arm at an acute angle - touch his face. The shoulders are a piece of engineering, and work okay, but they're a bit alarming. It's more of a ratcheting to get the shoulders to move, but generally they stay where put. The one disappointment for me, is that top torso joint. It's basically worthless and he might as well be a single piece torso. The mobility there is almost nil. But... when he looks that good, we forgive a lot around here. (I also love my Iples with all their foibles.)
So...much...pretty-ness! XD Galaway is so...dreamy! I really like that tawny! Looks like I get to wait not-so-patiently for another 3 months! LOL! Thanks for the info! I think these guys were designed to just stand around looking BEAUTIFUL! >____< Who needs mobility when these guys are carved like Greek statues. XD
I've been kicking myself for not getting Aspen. I had just put Galway there on lay away, and couldn't really justify a second one so soon. I can't wait for owner pix!

I would love some suggestions for other heads that would go on an Idealian51 body, since SOOM doesn't seem to be in any hurry to release a WS one.
franciscomartins, your photos are beautiful! Thank you for the photos. The neck is extremely wide-- as wide as a SD neck-- so I think there would need to be a lot of modding to get a different 6-7" or 7-8" head to fit it seems. I wonder if it'll be slightly easier if you were using a faceplate to put on the body, because then instead of having to hack at a whole MSD head until the neckhole is wide enough you just need to build something behind the faceplate that's wide enough.
Does anyone know about how long it's taking for Soom to ship once the order is in? I have Cuba on layaway, but may pay him off early if he is likely to be ready soon. There doesn't seem to be a 51 waiting thread.
There is an ID51 waiting thread for London-Steamrider initially, and a second thread was started for London-the-Moor; the first thread has also Danube, Aspen, and Cuba. I'm not holding my breath for Cuba's delivery. It will probably be a month more at the least, perhaps a little more, for a 10 weeks wait.

Did everyone see? Soom is doing a new Gem Centaur with an ID-51 torso & new head. Hornblend is here: http://dollsoom.com/eng/shop/item.php?it_id=1324888700 One gorgeous face, and we in the ID-51 thread don't have to be told how nice his torso & arms are.
I like the NS for Hornblend, but I find his face extremely unattractive. Also, he's even more expensive than Zinc was... It's getting a bit silly... For him all prettified, but without the outfit or anything, he's still over a thousand dollars, and that just doesn't do it for me. I'll enjoy looking at other people's, though.
