    3. Question: I am uninitiated into the world of Soom Idealians, so I don't know how these releases go. Are all of the dolls essentially limited? Do they ever release them in "basic" or different skin tones?

    6. Weird pink skintone, meh face, single jointed knees and clunky ankles; guess I'll pass even though the measurements and physique is interesting.

      Tempest_strife; once she sells out (time period limited), she's gone. The don't seem to get basic releases, but a new one comes out every couple of months, skintones seem to vary as do face sculpts.

    8. No problem! I have been stalking the Soom site for those measurements! I do wonder if they'd put up a picture of the head sans face up... I'd like to see a blank head. I find that though her face is a tad "masculine" (depends on perspective; my mom finds Soom Idealians feminine [except Branon] & this girl quite "normal") but it fits very well with the image of Idealians that I have in mind; heroes, protectors, powerful characters. Even her body is a bit "buff" and yet I wouldn't except something soft and exceptionally girly from an Idealian... it just doesn't "click" as Idealian in my mind.

      At the same time, I'm a bit used to these "strong females" from Soom; Mecha Angel Betel, Deneb, Vega... etc.

    9. they did a nice work, her body is supersported, her face looks like a boy, almost the 80% of female soom molds are like that. XD
      i wonder if her faceplate can fit on male one.

      but she's overpriced.
      cant believe a piece of resin like that costs so much.

    12. I finally got to see her...and I like her! :) I think she looks spunky.
      I can see in some of her features traces of some of Sooms SG boys, but I think she still looks feminine. Her outfit (especially the coat) is really awesome. I like her hands...her body....
      I think she is a solid effort by Soom.

      Soo.... $65 more for tawny? :o I like the skin tone but it seems a bit much. :o

      I wish they'd release more picture for the body details? Afterall, they did it for both the ID72 and ID51 release. >.>

    15. I am disappointed with her body. Her body doesn't seem to have the same level of detail as the male Idealian body. Her body looks like the standard female doll body. I wish Soom would give us better photos.

    16. I don't know much about the idealian, as I collect female dolls only for the moment, but I really like her, she has most of the characteristics I look for in a doll: strong, powerful, special!
      And, she's a redhead in their pics (more than half of my crew are redheads) and she has an aviator outfit, gorgeous gal!
      I dont' find her masculine at all, she's just not the lovely darling type, more the strong sexy woman type.

    17. Actually, a while back Victoria of Soom told me that they ARE planning to re-release some IDealians as Special Orders in the future. I would expect that if they do re-release them they will be in skin tones different from the original release however.

      I for one, like her somewhat masculine face! And in person, that skintone is lovely, by the way. Not at all pink, more of a warm glow.

      Oh and if Soom does rerelease Idealians in different colors...I pray it's after the holidays. Right after tax returns would be nice.;)

    19. The body pictures of her are gorgeous. She is by far the best looking female doll sculpt that I have seen, next to Fairyland's Feeple 65 Chloe. If I could afford her, I would definitely order her.

    20. Dollsoflace posted measurements upthread. Albany is 68cm.

      My avatar is a Branon in tawny if that's any help. He has a nice warm glow to him in person. Galway is tawny, too, and I think those pics show it well. I don't think that particular shade of red hair in the promo pics does Albany's skintone justice.
