I also asked Soom for some pics, here they are. I didn't ask for a profile shot though. These photos are not mine, they belong to Soom. ^ York no face-up. ^ York with 14mm eyes. (I was surprised, but thankful, that they actually took this pic for me.) He looks SO much better with 14mm eyes I want him even more now! Soom's brown tan is too dark for my tastes, so if I order him I'd go with NS. I wish he was bronze instead of brown tan. Now to go see if I can come up with the funds to get this guy...
Wow ^^... hehe maybe, maybe I am getting him... just "found" (yes I literally did) some money.... *sigh* Thanks for the photos. I love him even more now seeing him with the 14mm eyes. And wow he also looks gorgeous in NS... kinda didn't like the NS promo pictures but on this one he looks very beautiful.
I much prefer smaller irises in dolls and he looks much better with them. He's certainly a lovely doll and I like him in that wig.
Thank you for posting those bunnyboo! I have made up my mind to get NS. Tan is too dark for me as well. I knew he would look great with 14mm eyes.
As bunnyboo already posted the no faceup pic from Soom, I'll just post the profile pic I asked for. He has the slightest aquiline curve to his nose, just as I suspected!
I absolutely love his profile. I need to stop looking at his picture because I'm liking him more and more.
FFFFFFFFFFFFfff DARNIT YOU GUYS D: Thanks alot, I thought I MIGHT be able to escape this guy, but now any resistance I had is completely and utterly shattered. :I I'VE SUCCUMBED. The blank sculpt is gorgeous. I love his profile and I think it's very unique for a Soom profile (my only complaint with Soom is that their nose profiles can look too similar from doll to doll. Not the case here, that's for sure). And he looks so much better with smaller eyes too Q_Q HNNNNG. Yeah I'll be putting this guy on 5 part layaway pretty soon. ;; FML
So then (hope you gaiz don't mind me using your images), Ender and York compared: They really are like brothers! o.ó Before anyone says it -- you may be tempted to think Ender looks "softer" or "less detailed" here, but that's only because the focus on his image was soft, and because whiter resin tends to wash out and lose definition on black cloth. Makes a huge difference, trust me.
They really should have used that profile pic! He has a very unique nose and it deserves to be highlighted.
The jawline is different, too. York's is stronger, which I like! I aligned the Ender and York blank sculpts. Both heads are rescaled to the same size-- I just lined them up so the eyes and nose match. Very subtle differences. They certainly could be brothers!
You are evil, you realize that? XDD sakuraharu, that image looks like some kind of modern art composition. XD Yeesh, even their eyeholes are about the exact same size. It's interesting that the chins and top of the skulls don't line up with each other, even though every other feature lines up perfectly. I guess that means that Ender's features are placed higher on the skull than York's. Well, I originally got Ender to be a bro to my Chrom (no matter how much I've been scoffed at for this, I still maintain that Ender looks a lot like Chrom XD), but now, after seeing York, I think York/Ender would make better brothers than Chrom/Ender... Maybe I should alter my story and just make them all be 3-way brothers :F
