ROTFLOL! Well, they don't have wings, but there's loads of companies that sell resin wings, Leekeworld does, off the top of my head, and they're quite nice too. Other MDs have had wings that are in the Marketplace, not every fullset's going to have every li'l thing that's in a person's head; Soom doesn't mind-read! That being said, at least to me it's more important if the sculpt is lovely, and worth having. If I get Taco I won't be getting the default faceup as I have envisioned something more vivid, but it's not Soom's obligation to make what I'd like, it's my obligation to like what I get. I'm sure there'll be enough people liking them to make up for those people who would prefer to buy another fantasy Yo-SD dragon elsewhere! And there's nothing that's been mentioned here that would be, from what I've seen, beyond the realm of a customizer, be it scales or adding a set or two of wings, if it's wanted badly enough it can happen. .hlp
oh I never said I won't buy one because it didn't have wings, I was saying dragon wings would be nice to have. I don't think I'll find much of a cutie somewhere else. I'm still not sure who would work best for my group. I kinda want the snow blue, but worried he won't fit in my dollie family as much the white one would be current family consist of ns, ws and ts. Never even thought of a GS in the family when I saw Grit.
They're definitely cute, but not as dangerous as I thought they'd be. I always figured mini-Sphalers would slay me, but these wee ones aren't Sphaler-esque enough. I wish they'd gone for a more Chinese dragon feel for the outfits as well. And Sphaler's smug-serene smile could have been quite adorable chibified, but then their MD tinies aren't chibi versions so fair enough. They are REALLY cute, though. The blue skintone is quite pretty, too.
Lack of wings is not the breaking point for me... honestly as awesome as Nephelin's wings were, they were too small for my tastes and I was already set to have a set of wings made to be more proportionate for a teenie dragon. Now if the legs of these two were more like Nephelin or Sphaler I would be all over it. These are just too furry to fit the image I had in mind. I was hoping to see scales and claws. On the plus side, there have been lots of different hoof styles, so perhaps we will see a more scaly dragon in the future.
I'm trying to make myself like them more than I do just because I'm afraid I'll miss out on a blue skinned doll Soom with never make it again *coughVesuvia* but I don't like the animal feet and I do wish they had wings, but the tail is cute...

Although the gorgeous little dragon feet are not particularly as sphaler-esque as I may have hoped I've caved in when it comes to Taco's gorgeous snow-dragon blue...and those tiny little feet are so cute. No body-blushing though for me as, like others have mentioned too, I have a different colour scheme in mind....and no face-up on the "human" head either both for colour scheme purposes & more specifically as planning to do a bit of a resin mod on the ears as ordinary human ears seem like such a shame for gorgeous fantasy babies.
I asked Soom about Taco skin color. As Taco looks more greyish blue and Haidi more white-blue, but both should have the same skin I was curious about it. Thought maybe some of you are interested in it as well: Dear customer, Good day ! Regarding your question: Yes, Haidi and Taco snow blue skin tone is exactly the same. I guess that because of the mix of face-up, body blushing and Photoshop effects, it is not easy to see that the colour is actually the same.^^; If you have any question, please contact us again. I still love them... But buying Taco will *really* mess with my plans and prolong everything... I'm afraid that I'll regret not buying them though..
Hrghh. It's only January and already I fear I might be Soomed. XD; I'm really wanting Dolomi, though admittedly I thought 'deer' when I saw the antlers/horns at first. I absolutely adore the feet/tail and outfit, as well as the facial sculpt (even if it looks a bit familiar.) I'm just debating over it now. ^^;

Well, I caved and put Dolomi on layaway. I think I may wind up getting her a pair of Leeke wings, too. I just had the feeling I would really regret not getting her later on. Sigh, now, hopefully Soom won't come out with Baby Breccias or anything like that. ;
Pantalaimon, are they the cute little demon wings they have at the moment? I was considering those for my Taco when I placed a Leeke wig order recently but decided against it as I'd love a pair of semi-translucent wings to match those gorgeous little dragon horns, something more like the resin on Xana Studios' Heaven Wings. I've been meaning to get back to my own experiments with semi-translucent polyurethane casting so might make this the perfect excuse...but if I get lazy then I'm going with the Xana Studios wings. I'd love to see how the Leeke wings look if you post up pics of your little white dragon with those gorgeous wings when your dolomi arrives ~ Just to add, I just discovered that Xana is on the DOA banned list so I might reconsider any purchases there. Yes, those are the ones I was thinking. ^^ I was thinking white, but I'd blush them a little to match the feet. Semi-translucent wings would be amazing and beautiful - I'd love to see what you come up with if you experiment. I'll definitely post pictures with the wings when she arrives, though I'm not sure how long to expect that to be since I've never ordered a MD directly from Soom (my Glot was second hand.) Guys, what other places sell wings that might be suitable for the baby dragons? I'm curious to see what else is out there.
When I order my Dolomi (is Dolomi meant to be female? O_O) I plan on getting the silver blue wings actually..haha. Who knows I may go white. But the blue looks like such a faded greyish blue that I think it will work! But I won't get the faceups...I'm going to have them done by Alogue. The faceups are nothing special from Soom, for Dolomi anyways...so I figure I have something different for Dolomi's faceup..perhaps a bit darker.
