I did think she looked like Christina Applegate around the eyes, maybe I'm tired.

And Migma has such a horrid story! Is it all good now that it has a happy ending? ^^;

 

AAAAH thank god she's up during my paycheck week XD I still wonder if the next idealian will pop up so i can make my decision easily. Instead of wondering if he's going to be awesome, i love migma though, she'll be perfect contrast with my Monzo

 

Well, I've done the only thing I could do for the present being and that was to get Bazael paid up first...I've just done that and Chrom is a gift, so if I can manage funds just before her closing date, I'll have a chance at her in purple - hope I can do it!

She really is stunning! Also she's one of the few dolls I adore in both skin tones. I'm not Soomed, but if I was I'd order her in violet. The dress is to die for!

However, am I the only one who really hates her demon/gargoyle/whatever feet? From the front they look OK. But from the side it looks like somebody broke her toes.

 

considering they are bat feet I don't think they look that bad and I like them a lot more than Bazael's Ô_o his feet really creeped me out.
but it looks painful to walk with those (I feel pain for her) and she probably can barely stand :/ maybe if she cut her nails it would help? xD

 

Ostrich I don't think you're the only one that doesn't like them, but for my part I like them a lot!

I agree, Bazael's feet were too weird for me. And I do wonder if she'll have any standing issues, but I think it'll be a lot like having a doll in high heels, so she'll probably be fine.

I think the feet are much more like what I envisioned when they were doing the gargoyle dolls last year. I'll most likely try to pick up pair ^_^

Comparing her feet to Bazael's feet I like his feet more. If you cut off his back toe it almost looks like he's standing in high heels. Migma's feet remind me more of Trond/Kivi's feet. She's standing on the very ends of the balls of her feet. But instead of her toes bunching up right next to her foot (like Trond/Kivi/yours do if you stand the same way), they do this weird U bend before they spread out. Ah well. I suppose it doesn't matter, since I won't be buying her anyway.

I do love her bat wings! I wonder how delicate those little claws will be. The post-and-magnet system is also my favorite wing design. I'm glad Soom decided to keep it.

Also, only $20 to upgrade to violet skin? This seems really cheap compared to their other resin tones. Bazael's gray skin was an extra $100, and both Bazael and Migma have the same base price. Not that I'm complaining!

 

I know, right! I went all Ô.oseriously? when I saw the price. but I won't complain xDD I want her in purple and with the dress and shipping she will already be a bit over 1000$. I wouldn't want to have to pay an extra 100$ for the skin >.>

 

I don't know if everyone saw this already, but right under the order date/times Soom posted a notice:

I am going to go ahead and assume the additional human body does NOT have the holes in her back for the wings as well.

 

She is really pretty i need her now ; ; , now i must decided LV or WS, but i thing the LV is really beautifull and more rare that the WS, and sure i need her outfet too.

 

I just posted up on the Q&A board in regards to the 'other body' and if it has the holes in the back for the wings... so I will let all you ladies know.

Well, I'm completely and utterly Soomed by this lovely bat lady. I'll probably wait until the end of the ordering period, though, to find out if I have a new job and can pay in full or if I need to start a loooong layaway. I'm even tempted to get her dress, though I don't usually buy doll clothes because I'm a pretty good seamstress myself... but I've never sewn for a LARGE bust before and I want her to have something nice to wear while I'm experimenting. Hmmm. So many decisions!

I should probably let my husband know that I'll be buying her. << He may flip out a little lol.

 

Sooo, quicky question while I am sitting here thinking about it...! I read somewhere that some are thinking that the doll, when ordered with any extras, does NOT come with a set of human legs? As in she comes with a large bust with the bat legs and no human legs to switch out UNLESS you buy a full human body to go with for the extra $400ish?

I also included this question in my Q&A to Soom but in case someone else knows for sure already? I am still going to order her but that'll put a bit of a kink in my plans 8,D haha. I am not so sure I think that that is correct though. When the other strange feet'ed dollies came out did they not automatically include human legs with the hoofed/ pawed doll as well? This is my first actual Soom MD straight from Soom so any thoughts are appriciated! hehe

 

Soom MD's always come with both human and fantasy parts as the basic composition.

 

OH WHEW. I caught on somebody's split thread that they had thought the original came with the bat legs only and it scared the bejeezus out of me! Haha. Thanks so much Dreadfulme!
