Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Congrats fairyspit! When I had Beryl, she wore a Monique 8-9 wig (the style was Pretty Girl) and it fitted fantastically as Monique wigs have some elasticity, her twin sister wore a 9-10 wig that I got off ebay and that was also a good fit and not too big...I'll try and find pics for you.:)

    2. @ Sakhmet, thank you for putting up some comparison pics! My - they are rather big girls, aren't they! It's good to know that the regular SG clothes will fit.

      @ fairspit, Yay for taking the plunge! My wallet is hurting too - but she is sooooo worth it! Welcome to the club! I'd say we have t-shirts, but I don't think we could afford them right now. :)

      @ gelfling9uk, thanks for putting up the wig shots. I'm making so many notes about sizes that fit! Also - off-topic - NICE quilt! Congratulations on a great finish! I like the fabric combination. :)

    3. Thank you for the wig info! I haven't ordered her just yet. The price freaked me out. ha! She will be my most expensive and largest doll if I do decide to finalize my order...

      I was playing around in photo editing with different wigs and really liked http://dollsoom.com/eng/shop/item.php?it_id=1276558888 but am having a hard time finding a good owner pic of it on here. I read that Monique is really nice and found one I liked (Kanawaves) but shipping is really expensive for just one wig.

      I've never handled an SD and have nothing here that would suit one so I am finding myself a bit hesitant :sweat

    6. Mine too... especially since I'll probably splurge and get the second body. >< Yikes! But that way, if I decide I don't want one of the heads I can sell a whole doll. And I can also say "Well, I'm really getting TWO dolls for $1300, not one. So it's okay."

      Ran it by the hubby last night, who said that if I sell some of my other dolls I can buy her. So here's to hoping that I can sell off some of my collection, because I really, REALLY want to bring Migma home.

    7. me too. I already have another very expensive doll on layaway, if I want to have both my other dolls will have to go :sweat but it's OK because one of them was only meant to be painted and not be part of my collection and the other one -who should get here next week- I'm not even sure anymore I want her :/ so it won't be a heartbreaking decision at least!

    8. Yeah... I'm keeping my two favorites and listing everything else. I think I want to go a new direction with my crew anyway, and I've discovered that no matter how cute a tiny doll is, I won't know what to do with it when it gets here. ><

      On topic: The skin colour of Migma is fantastic. But not many Soom females have grabbed me lately. I wish her hollow head was without fangs, then I would have gotten one in CW.

      But, I will be stalking and waiting for owner photos cause it will be so much fun to see what people will do with her!

    11. I keep going back to look at her beautiful face. I know I should not considering buying her, because I really can't afford her with my studies in the fall, but I will regret it if I don't D: If I'm going to get her, I might have to sell some of my dolls.. It's a hard decision to make.

    14. God dayum... I've got Zinc on layaway, but I cannot get Migma and her fangs out of my head. :lol: If it is in any way humanly possible, I want to order her by July 23!

      Time to trim the dolly fat, as it were, and spend my tax return irresponsibly... :sweat My husband is going to divorce me haha.

    15. That last sentance made me laugh. :) what our significant others put up with us and our cute little dollies. I am going to be ordering my migma in a few days, and as one person already said, I felt my wallet die when I saw how much this expensive girl was LOL. I will be getting her in the purple skin but I can't help but love her in the CW skin....if only I could have twins LOL but that would kill my wallet beyond repair LOL

      I have a soom Vesuvia and I was wondering....(sorry if this has been asked already) do you think the skintone will be similiar enough to each other? I figure Migma will atleast be missing the glittery portion of it.

    16. Heh... my hubby stopped asking what the dolls cost when I tell him I'm getting one. I think he'd rather not know. He trusts me to make responsible choices with money and not spend more than we can afford, but I think he prefers blissful ignorance to the alternative ("You spent how much on a doll?").

      I'm curious about the Vesuvia resin, too. In the photos, Vesuvia looks a lot light but that may just be photo effects. Maybe we could ask Soom to do a comparison?

That would be awesome in their little gallery thread to post that because to me Migma looks much darker than my Vesuvia which to me is a light purple....but they haver the option as "lavender" or light purple in the thread for her on the website (migma) so I am curious if they are close in matching. They never said anything about "glittery" skintone so I doubt it will have that.

      It would be neat if they were close enough to each other because then the scorpion tale could be put on and look awesome on Migma 0.O

    18. Wow!!! O_O I have to say that Migma is simply outstanding. I don't collect female dolls, but she'd be the one if I did... I love her in the violet skin, but I think she's also quite special and elegant in the CW. I can't wait to see people's customizations with her. I'd also love to see a male version... :)
