Everything seems to be quieter. There are so many new companies and the holidays are distracting people from dolls. I lot of chat has move to Facebook but I don't really like Facebook.

I almost caved for the blue myself, but I can't justify getting the same face for two dolls and I'm very attached to my Volo boy! @nancy_schroeder_ca True, true, always lots going on with new companies and holidays! SOOM still has some of the best fantasy sculpts, though! I'm also not a huge fan of facebook, I avoid it at all cost, haha! I'm always happy to chat about cute SOOM dollies though! My crew is hanging out on my beanbag with the army of stuffed animals for the holidays, since Clarinne's usual perch will be occupied by my tree!
I also picked up a Volo in blue - I’ve always loved that sculpt (and fantasy feet!). Very happy to have the chance to add her to my doll crew! I’ll be sure to post photos!
I actually don't like the fantasy feet at all! My Volo will have her eyes modded open, and human feet with her horns and wings.
Does anyone know if old Angel Region little fair dolls and Soom mini sized dolls have the same matching resin skin normal skin color if we disregard yellowing?
So, out of curiousity, has anyone tried wiring one of their little gems, and does it help with some of their posing issues? I adore my group to pieces, but they do get a bit floppy sometimes. I just finished wiring one of my other dolls for the first time (Captain Floppy Knees Jett on a Myou Body) and was wondering if anyones tried it for SOOM and if it helped. There's a reason Clarinne is standing in exactly zero of her pics, lol. EDIT: Since time and crafting wire wait for no (wo)man, I decided to give it a go. And I am seeing an improvement! Look, she's standing! It's not perfect (of course the wings make balancing more difficult), but she's definitely doing better!
Sadly I only have soom head, not the body so I don't know how they posing and how to fix it. But I think restring and sueding method always can help that issue about body posing! Gonna up picture of my babe again xD Really love how soom always make their baby mouth look absolutely kissable. Now I am confuse between Serin and Chesire smile, both of them are gorgeous but I can only afford one
I did end up trying the wiring for my little gems, and it turned out to work very well! I used 14 ga for the arms and 12 ga for the legs. Everyone seems to be standing and gesturing better. Also, my Erland boy arrived yesterday! He's so cool, although stringing his arms was an ordeal and a half. I had to improvise an S-hook out of wire since the arm channel on the skeleton arm is so small. @yumenokaori Your girl is so pretty! I love her outfit and face! Honestly, I would have trouble choosing between the two, although I love Cheshire's mischievous grin.
I've gotta say, I have never impulse-bought a doll before, until they released that frosty Lux/Volo. I was on that order button faster than ever before, to the point where, for a moment, I was starting to have second thoughts. Maybe I shouldn't have ordered him; maybe I should have thought about it more. But now, seeing pictures of @Magnus Vale 's boy, all my doubts are gone. He's so cute! He's SO CUTE. I love his grumpy little face, and I can't wait to have one of my own.
Aw, @sailorstarsun , thank you so much! Lux/Volo definitely has one of the best pouty expressions! Aidrian has continued to be one of my absolute favorite boys in my collection. Glad I could help clear up your doubts about your purchase, haha! I need to update his profile pic, though, haven't taken a new one since the summer. Maybe I'll bring Ai home with me for the holidays for some photo ops. Also, the new little gem boy is gorgeous, wish I could afford him, haha.
I think they‘re new, yes. And I absolutely love them The new sculpt is lovely, but I think I can resist for now. I might cave in the future though, if they offer him in other colours I really wanted the outfit but by the time I checked the site, it was already sold out IMO it‘s great that they are selling the outfits separately, but if they‘re going to produce them in such limited quantities, it would be great to know that beforehand and maybe get a few preview pics.
Aidrian is enjoying the holiday atmosphere, even if he isn't into festive fashion, per se. At least candy canes make stylish regular canes for him!
Seeing your pics makes me look forward to my own Lux even more And I think I‘m in trouble...I seriously need to stop looking at Zedo or I‘m gonna end up ordering him after all. I just love those new fantasy parts and his face is really cute, too I even like the Surprise Head, though I don‘t think I would actually buy it because the mouth looks a bit weird in some pics. I think that‘s something I would need to see owner pics of to be sure. But wanting the normal head is already bad enough

I brought Aidrian home specifically to get some more daytime pics, so hopefully more soon. Also, agree about Zedo, he's super, though I have another doll on my radar at the moment, so trying to resist.

Currently debating between Zedo and the Dream Valley Bethel. So it's dragon vs angel. I really love the feather body on Bethel, but Zedo's fantasy parts are also to die for. XP In other news, I decided to switch out Ai's eyes again.
Oh, those wings look nice as well But I like Zedo more I think by now I‘m pretty sure I‘ll order him, but I‘m torn about which head to choose. The Surprise Head is so special and looks great in most pics, but in some his bottom lip looks a bit weird. Argh, I don‘t know what to do and there‘s only a few hours left to order Aw, he looks even grumpier with those eyes So cute EDIT: So, I obviously caved and ordered Zedo^^“ I decided to get him in Bronze with the Surprise Head after all I hope that was the right decision, I was so torn about which head to choose.
@Dark_Shiva144 Ooooh, be sure to share many pics in a few months when he arrives! The bronze looked super pretty! And I think the surprise head is pretty unique, he looks like he's chewing on his lip in deep thought to me. Cute! It looks like we're having some sort of Shale/Adamelli release this month too. Wonder if they'll have new fantasy parts. Since I've been spamming with grumpy Aidrian lately, here's a little bit of happy Rae to balance things out!
