    1. i am so disappointed. :( :( :( . he is shorter, fatter, and heavier than an eid. had it been only the chest piece that was 'bigger', with the rest being 'regular super gem sized', i could have 'handled' him.

      i love the face and i am trying to leave it 'open' in my mind, but he reminds me of chrom on steroids and i just do not like that body. i am a 'soom fan' not an 'iple eid' fan.

    4. It does seem like Soom is trying to be like Iple, or think that's what most people want?

      What I don't understand is there is a "human" version but they left the ears. :sweat Does not make sense to me. Why give him human everything else but the ears? Wouldn't he stick out in a group of other humans? lol

      I really hope EID clothes fit him because that'd be awesome. Iple makes some beautiful and well-made clothes. I got a model suit sitting here I hope fits him. *crosses-fingers*

    5. Ditto this. I have a Tedros coming in, and there's his outfit and another pair of pants for him in the model size, and I have some of the superhero size EID clothes as well. (Which, amusingly, also fit my MA girls brilliantly as hip-hugger jeans, and the shirts fit for comfy loose style... )

    6. What a beautiful man! :aheartbea I don't think his soft pretty face quite goes with the steroid-skin-ripper muscles, but he is really gorgeous. The fullset is to die for. Seriously, full-monty whole-hog bells-and-whistles wonderful.

      I too am excited to see that Mr. Mega Gem's measurements will mean that Soom's clothes can fit my EIDs someday in the future (that is, if they actually decide to make a lot of regular clothes for him, & not abandon the poor man like they did with male MAs). There will probably be some pants-rolling & shirt-pinning here and there, but... Judging from the numbers, he's close enough to the Model EID to give the clothing a try.

    7. I saw Monzo for the first time today at work while coincidentally wearing my Goliath t-shirt. I am so doomed to buy him. Those ears and feet are too hot to pass up. P8

    9. Ok, so in some ways I love him, and in other ways I hate him. The new body doesn't work for me. The best manly, buff body is still the EID strong man body. Monzo's body looks out of proportion and too veiny. I still hate the new head cap, but I think that's just me lol. Overall though, I love the gargoyle concept and execution! The wings are fantastic, the outfit is great, the horns are so unusual and the ears are perfect for a gargoyle! He even looks great in both skin tones! The only thing I wish they had done is take a page out of Impldoll's book and give him human ears too. I really wished they had done that for Amber as well. :(

    12. I find him totally perfect for me and my Crypt =D he is the doll I was waiting for to give new life to my Chimera, one of my oldest character, away from the Crypt since two years... *__*
      His normal skin version says nothing to me, I must say, but the grey one is fabulous *__* and his body too. I have Iplehouse EID (both model and super hero) but I don't look to have a Iple replacement, I like this body as it is XD
      So bad I had to buy him in layaway, I wish to see him as soon as possibile in person... anyway considering Soom preparation times, I suppose it will need 4 months or more... well, better enjoy the wait.

    13. Egad. I had two Gargoyle action figures as kid and absolutely loved the show. I am usually quite indifferent to grey skin and Soom's animal feet, but in this case, perhaps due to very high levels childhood nostalgia, I really, really like the direction Soom took for this gentleman.

      I have to agree with the people here who think his face is a little too pretty for that ridiculously ripped body, but, personally, I don't find the contrast quite as disconcerting as with Dollmore's glamour model boys. Also, it looks like his arms are better proportioned than Soom's regular super gem body.

      It's a trend I want to say, and hope, more companies follow. Soom has to find a way to keep up with what people want, and there's a pretty large fanbase for EID sized dolls. They might be trying to branch up from their 65cm into a more...70cm range, since it goes right from their Super Gem's which are 65cm into the Mecha Angel line, which is what...80cm? They had the longer human legs for Heliot, giving him a couple of centimeters if I'm not mistaken?

      How big is Spirit doll's body? 70cm...I think...er, somewhere around there. :D I love that body too~! Not too sure what the measurements are other than height though.
      I'm such a sucker for the muscular men, but I have a soft spot for the effeminate little guys too. ; u ; I love Aiden's volks (SD10) body. <3

      On another note, I am quite bummed. I was hoping the Super Gem body was getting an upgrade, or the old heads could at least fit. XD I'd kill to have arms like those on my boys!

    15. :? Errrr, that butt looks very familiar... anyone remember the first Idealian? I swear that's his fugly butt on this new super gem size. And did someone say that they were the same size as an EID but shorter in height? WTF??? Do not throw things at me :sweat just my opinion. This new bod just isn't quite right; as in much like the first Idealian something just doesn't look right from the back. And is it just me or does it seem like we're headed for giant lifesize dolls at the rate the companies are ramping up the sizes? And what is up with the headcap? On Breccia it was new and unusual. Anyone know if we're going to be stuck with this new style of headcaps forever?

    17. He isn't thaaat much shorter than the EID's. XD Kinda, sorta? The human version on Monzo is 68cm, and the gargoyle version is 70cm. So they are essentially the same height, give or take...? EID still has a couple centimeters on the Mega Gem body in plenty of other measurements so it evens out. They aren't the same size exactly.

      I don't know how to feel about the headcaps personally, they don't bother me...considering most of the time they're hidden out of view. XD Who knows, maybe the new headcaps are easier to take off and such?

      I kinda like his butt...the joints make it look a bit odd though I must admit, but if you look at muscular models it does look realistic...? XD

    18. Wow. I really need the normal skin head. I'm not feeling the giant muscle body either, but his head...wow. Just wow. If he were a person I would have fallen in love with him &#9829; So beautiful. Unfortunately all people only want the head *facepalm*. Sigh.

      I love this new body though. I am not a fan of uber lanky or beefcakes, but this one is a very happy middle ground. :)
