Soom MD April 2010: Monzo - 'Stone Heart'

Oh man oh man oh man. So much love already! GRAY SKIN! FANCY HORNS! It is a good day.

As for feet, I'd die for either of these two:

a) Hooves. Not big thick hooves like Chalco, but ones more like Sard's - maybe even knobbier and more gargoyle-ish than his.

b) Claws. Not bird claws, monster claws. Ones with like four or five toes and really sharp curved claws. 8D

 

This xD As deadly and pain inflicting as those may be, that would just be pure love

But if they do that, then I'll be even worse off because there's no way I could get this guy >.< And as far as skin options go, they did give an option with Galena, so maybe they'll do the same with this one? I guess it doesn't really affect me either way though.

 

If he has demon claws, I'll be ordering him. Period. And giving up my Dollstol Lucy who I SAID I'd be getting in a couple of months. I'd probably split away his body, though. =/ Moar grey, though pretty, doesn't really fit my idea. But my Euclase needs feet to match his Dead Hands.

 

Since he's already so elaborate with horns and special ears and wings, he might just have normal feet, only with clawed toes or something.. since he has the bat-like ears on one head he might have a second head with normal ears as Soom has always done for fantasy-part heads.. and with the wings that would be about their elaborate fancy part quota.
I hope this isn't the case as I collect fantasy feet the way some people collect heads ^.^; I'm reaaallly hopping for hooves, SUPER hoping for cloven hooves. BUT judging by the "STON" its gotta be a gargoyle.. and all of them have, for the most part, human like feet with clawed toes. A few have more of a bestial dragon foot, but that's more rare.
But its SoOms world, they can put whatever kind of feet on him they want!

They must know I can't afford this beast right now or something, bah...but I'd only be swayed if he were in NS too. - u - Hmm... *strokes chin*

 

Oh my gosh this guy's head would be perfect for my SO's character. Can't wait to see the rest of him!

 

Okay, so I've thought about this all day (which is not good), and while I think/agree that a gargoyle is very original and not guessed-at much, and the direction they're going in, is Soom really going to give us a third GS doll with claws of some kind? Euclase: claws. Galena: claws. The way I see it, if this guy has claws, people are going to all be 'Soom can't do GS without claws' and if they do hooves it'll be 'Soom does hooves all the time', but I donno, GS hooves might work for me. I see the whole 'monster claws' versus 'bird claws' argument, but claws sometimes look a lot like claws after a while.

As far as I'm concerned, ain't nothin' wrong with dem hooves! I mean, Soom does do hooves a lot, but they are so smextacular! Not to mention the gray skin! *omnom*

Maybe they will give him new feet? Duck feet; discuss!

They look like normal human hands with just a bit of nail.. What I'm looking forward to seeing is if those wings are jointed of not. It could be my make or break point.

 

OMG If IF they ever release him with white wings I will scream! I have been looking for white resin wings that could pass for those of a dragon since last September! I NEED THEM!

That doesn't even make any sense, if you believe in such things
or even if you don't. It's a terrible fascination to have, yep IMO
but there are a lot of people who agree (they just want to avoid
getting attacked) but I don't care Moving on.....

Earlier it seemed like people were saying Bat, but I have to
agree more along with Gargoyle, either way bat or gargoyle
it will be interesting to see what feet Soom has made for Monzo!!!

It's great to see that Soom isn't going all light and cutesy with
this years MDs though....Breccia & the kittens had me a bit worried

 

I kinda wondered if he might have normal feet, too, because of those wings. Or just claw toenails. I rather hope for anthro feet tho.

I also wonder if those straps are what is holding the wings up. Or possibly even a new chest piece, it looks like he has extra cleavage or something.

EDIT: no it is not euclace's hands. I pulled euclase out to compare. They are different. I actually like euclase hands better but I need to see more pics, too. People always say soom recycles special parts but I have yet to see it. I wonder if gonzo's hands are normal hands with longer nails but will wait for pics.

 

Having a Euclase in the house I don't think they look like the dead hands at all. The nails are flatter, Euclase's hands have a really raised nail bed that curves, and have very sharp points (painfully so).

 

I said they look very much like Euclases dead
hands lol. Especially how the thumb and forefinger is
positioned. And Monzo has long nails too, it's just not
obvious right away.

edit: yes, they aren't as chunky/chubby, which is good.
But then again we can't even see his entire hand yet!!
Looking at the height of his possible wings makes me
really curious how heavy they are and if they are "jointed"
or not. Very exciting all in all.

 

I dont think anyone has brought this up:
He looks like his wings are attached to his back. That will be a first! Its been arms as wings and on the head before.

 

It was a few pages back, but there's speculation that he's got s different chest piece which probably indicate the wings will attach to the back. It might be the blushing or angle of the shot but it looks like he has deeper pectorals than the normal SG.

I don't have the money to just get him upfront and after my last experience with a spit (involving major parts) I'm a bit gun shy at this point. As much as I might want an SG body in WS, I think I'll just sit back and watch the fireworks.

 

I need to have this sexy beast... he and my Sphaler can have mutant babies... >___> Somehow... O_O

Sorry I misunderstood. I'm in the same boat of hoping I don't
love him...there's just NO room for another SG. But I fear he
is going to be amazzzzzing.

 

I'm very afraid that I'm going to like him. I was planning to get a girl for my first SD sized doll, but he would look really adorable with my gray pony babies.
