Soom [MD/FEB]: Ender Lord of Dead - discussion!

Sorry i like ender,but he's not similiar to me nor to Chrom,nor Hyperon..both of these sculpts have a very particular nose,that i don't see in Ender...
Nor the face up is similiar..maybe i dont' see these similarities..^^"

JennyNemesis i see owner's piccies for gluino and photon and both came with mani and pedi painted,i guess that on chalco the body blushing came different mainly because the body was different.

 

Ender is so drool worthy lol. I think he is quite smexy if I say so myself. If I had the money I would totally be getting him, Blonde hair and all. I love the way the Anubus mask looks, the way it fits on his head is very precise and the "wig" or whatever it is is really interesting. I think its my favorite part of him, or any MD in along time!

 

Welll,besides that soom maybe using a different finish touch,don't know which,i guess that you can seal with you msc the blushing...even if learn by yourself to do, i have to admit, it's the best thing to do.

The ender concept is simply awesome,i agree.Unfportunately mg isn't my cup of tea.

 

i'm not sure which doll form soom you've got with blushing, is well know, as well advertised by soom itesefl on comany web site, that blushing can be ruined fastly if you dress your doll frequently,
what i'm planning to do with my photon is sealed him back again with tow layer fo MSC, and i'll fix the issue, i have a DZ blushed with airbrush on body, sealed with MSC and since 2 years i have no issue or chipping....

i second this, he's awesome as concept, maybe the costume a bit pricey, but averall so far one of the best MD ever, just Euclase above him in my preference.

 

Wow. SOOM really outdid themselves with him. That is a masterfully composed doll concept. I think I like his Anubis head better though, actually--just wow that is too wicked awesome. Woohoo SOOM!

 

Yeah, there is no halfway with blushing: either you're on the bus or off the bus. If you're not into the maintenance, you don't go for the full-painted fullset. If you like it, you learn to bother to care for it, which is not all that hard to do. Soom uses some good sealant. (I find that since my Chalco is perpetually naked, it's really easy. xD Saves me a fortune on pants too.)

Oh cool! No, Chalco had no manicure because he had no fingernails. He has weird twig fingers. ^^ I love all the delicate details of those Mega Gem hands. The edges of the fingernails are sculpted so cleanly, you could almost imagine him biting them. I bet they look stunning with a full manicure.

 

Wow, he is an unbelievably handsome doll! The price of Soom dolls is a bit much for me, but I really look forward to seeing owner pics.

 

I've ordered him...Yay!!!!! Made up my mind and got Fullset NS. I love him in the tan brown but I willl get more use out of him in NS. Oh and I got the body blushing as well, extra yummy!!!!

 

None actually. Had another doll with a tattoo, blushing, etc on him, and ended up having to remove it all. The spray had gotten dirty and ruined the blushing, tattoos, etc and had to scrub him clean. Wouldn't bother me so much if I was an artist and not a writer, lol. I could redo it then, but I can't. Well, not planning on showing him off naked that much. ^^

I may have missed something, but have we been able to actually verify yet that Ender's resin is indeed the same as Chalco's? I hope so, since I love Chalco's color, but from the Soom images they seem to look like a different type of resin. Ender seems kinda lighter than Chalco, but it's hard to tell.

 

Don't say that, don't say that!!!!! I just spent all morning thinking the same thing, but then decided to go with NS for fear that the tan would be just too tan for me..... LOL!!!!!

 

Soom's tans seem to vary, but they've made a distinction between 'brown tan' and 'bronze' at times. (Their greys vary a bit also.)

Thank you surreality I stared at that for 20 minutes this morning. Lol, I have never had such a hard time making up my mind, I do think the tan looks better, but I know that he will be far more enjoyed in NS!!!! thanks for the link tho'.

 

The NS is much, much easier to think about hybrids with, I think. Their NS varies a little from batch to batch, too, but it doesn't seem to be as much. I went for Shoshon in the NS, and I'm thinking of going for Ender in the tan just to have more contrast between the pretty pretty blonde boys. If you ever aim to sand him, definitely aim for the NS.

Much as I love the Anubis head, half of me thinks I should sculpt a 'bust' for it (read: make my sculpey-happy mother sculpt something artsy for it) so it can always be displayed even if it isn't on his body, which... mmmphprettyboy. He's going to be wearing his human head a lot.

it's really strange, i have a DZ chen with Tattoos he have tow, on back and ar and nothing like this happened to me whne i've sealed him back, and it stay take a lot almost a year and didn't get any issue....

It took about three years for it to get really noticiable.

 

I finally saw the pictures this morning (I kind of watch the Soom MD page like a hawk when they put teasers up), and I thought...he would make such a seductive and beautiful girl!

That's not to say that he isn't a gorgeous man, but I think that head would also be divine on a lady body! DO WANT!

Surreality i've tooked in Novemeber a comparison piccies between all soom NS and believe me vary so much..not one similiar to another..from chalco to coquina..sadly...

 

This! SO this. Too bad there isn't really an SD-sized girl body that it would fit on... *le sigh* But there's always the option of building up a thicker neck on, say, an Iplehouse EID/SID lady!
