Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I just wish to share some info:
      apparently even the ankle pieces are included in the costume and not with the shoes,as the jackal cloth is,so if you need the ankle pieces as long as jackal cloth you will net to add the full costume as well.

    5. Ye-up, Shoshon and Ender are remarkably similar after all! And with blank head pics I can definitely see the chrom in them. It's dem Soom lips, methinks.

You know, without seeing the blank heads, I would have guessed that there would be more details in Ender's sculpt than Shoshon's, but Shoshon's looks like it could be ahead in that regard by a hair or so. Interesting! I genuinely wish they would include a blank head shot with the MD pages. I realize it disrupts the flow of the artwork on those pages, even if it is tacked on at the end -- maybe they could do a link at the bottom of the page to a gallery page that would be less intrusive? -- but it can't be more work to prepare that than having to send out photos later anyway. (And they always seem to be very gracious about doing that when they have been asked.)

    12. OMG, that is amazing news! I love both bodies but I might just prefer Ender (at least the human version) on a SG body. Now I'm wondering if I should hold off on ordering to see if they make any changes. Thanks for sharing the news! and I love how Soom really takes customer feedback into consideration.

    13. Hate to dissapoint, but I highly doubt it will happen.

      MG heads just... don't work on SG bodies. Look.

      I have a feeling Soom is just saying that to be nice. XD

      If it did happen, though, it would be rather exciting, since it would be totally unprecedented. Soom has never before made such a big change to the options in mid-order period, as far as I know.

    14. Actually, Soom normally tends to give a pretty definite "No" to odd requests, which is why I was so floored that she actually said they'd look into it.

      Additionally, it wouldn't take much work at all for Soom to make a neck adapter piece to size the neck hole down to SuperGem neck size. I'd been pondering just doing it myself with apoxie sculpt, actually. Just one little extra piece and they could make happy a lot of potential customers who might otherwise have passed on the big guy.

    15. OK, I read this via the subscription notice in my email, didn't notice who posted it and thought:

      "Wow! Tygati will be so thrilled when she hears about this!"

      So, um, I guess you are...

      Actually, I can think of at least two other occasions where Soom has bent over backwards to make customers happy-- one where they sold a limited doll to a customer who asked nicely after the close of sales, and another where they sold another limited in a different color than advertised. So never say never...

Well, although it would certainly make a lot of people who haven't already ordered happy; it would not suit too well with other people who have ordered XD I mean, we could probably ask them to change the doll options, but I'm one of the many who ordered an Ender part (Human head) through a split, and I can't possibly withdraw from my split now that it'd paid and ordered... So I must admit I'd be a little bit pissed if they did change options mid-order period >///<

    17. One of the reasons why I'm so keen to buy Ender is that he has the Mega Gem body. When I actually saw one in comparison to the Super Gem, I really preferred the Mega Gem. I've got Chalco and he looks rather boyish in comparison to the rest of my guys here. I've got mainly 70cm and EID guys here.

    19. I really hope they will keep Ender Mega Gem too. I want him because he is a Mega Gem. But I can't order him before end of next week. Well I hope Soom will just add the option Mega Gem OR Super Gem, and not changing him from Mega Gem to Super Gem.

Er, I think a head that size will look utterly rediculous on a SG body. :( Not that I want to be mean or anything, but the size of the neck hole alone will mean that it won't fit snugly on the thinner SG neck, not to mention the fact that it will look oversized. To make it work would basically mean re-making the head with a smaller neck hole and slightly revised proportions, which would be a lot of work for SOOM to do.

      Also, just as a personal thing, I like him as a mega gem. I prefer the bigger body, and I think it looks good with the Jackel head. On a thinner body he would look rather underfed, poor fellow! ;)
