Soom MD February 2010 - Breccia Moon Wish

She's very pretty, but thanks God i am not into girls there has to be more for me to consider getting a Super Gem girl like if she would have a fangs .......(loves vampires to no end).
Regarding her size i think it would be interesting if soom would change the order into something different. as long as they will keep Super Gems every other month. I love big dolls, i never think they are too big well just very expensive... but still i find the super gem size lovely, even would like something ab it bigger. I also wonder which element she will represent. I was hoping they will revers genders for this years elements, so that if darkness was cuprit, the this time it could be a male doll. But i guess we have to wait and see. Wish they would update the story and let us know the plan for this year. I am still hoping for a vampire doll from soom, there were no vamps from MD ever.... would like one

 

I still very much like the idea someone suggested (I don't remember who, sorry!) of these being celestial dolls - so we'd have the moon (Breccia), the sun and perhaps all the planets of the solar system.
If you take just the main planets, we have 8 planets plus the moon and the sun giving us 10 possible dolls. There are then the dwarf planets too, with the potential for even MORE dolls.
I could almost imagine the dwarf planets being teenie gems with the main planets being super gems! Or they could have the teenie gems being stars.

The bad part for those of us afraid for our wallets or for us teenie fans is that they'd probably almost ALL be Super Gems. So for those who like big dolls, that would probably mean a year of them!
Either way, I think we can guarantee there will be at least 6 Super Gem this year, so you'll be happy Teja!

You know what's weird?
I have no particular interest in a fox doll. I've never thought to myself, OH HEY a fox doll would be FABULOUS!
Yet I've seen her and now I think it might be AMAZING.

I was thinking about this earlier.
A few of us, myself included, have been sort of complaining about how we thought Soom were going to go somewhere different with things this year. We were expecting them to take everything a bit further.
Then it occured to me, what's the one thing they didn't do at all last year and people kept wanting them to? TAILS.
It was bizarre that Chrom didn't have a tail even though he was a wolf, and while the tinies have had tails, they've had these tiny little stick on tails rather than huge resin tails that are part of their body - much like Vesuvia's stinger.
So what if this year they're doing to work on more dolls like Vesuvia, dolls who have fantasy parts in the torso area rather than in the feet?

So here with Breccia, assuming she's a fox, we could be seeing this huge resin foxy tail coming out of her midsection, then her feet might just be human (as Vesuvia's were).
Or they could go ALL OUT and give her fantasy feet too.
This would definitely be something new, would be a challenge for their creative team, and would make all those people who've been hoping for big tails very happy!

 

Anyone ever thought that maybe she is a Flying Fox/Fruit Bat? I so hope so!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll never get a MD, but I've definately fallen for them all. I've looked excited at SOOM's website for their new doll-releases every month, and I've so many thought they were fantabulous, but I never really wished for a specific doll, but I do think it's awesome! I really like Chrom too!

 

Fruit bat is definitely possible too.. I'm not really sure what she's going to be but I love her face and that's a big step! No matter how nice the fantasy parts are, if the face isn't good I won't be going for her!

As for the tails. I like them. But then I'll need to get different doll stands. That's also why my Soom Amber isn't wearing her tail at the moment, it just doesn't fit with the dollstand.

I lover her sweet face, thats why she appealed so much to me. Galena was more a fierce beauty but I love the sweetness of Breccia. I hope she will be released before the weekend because I hate waiting a whole weekend for more photos xD.

Still on the fence here. I'm going to need more pictures, including what size she is, before deciding. But even if I don't get her I think she's lovely and very versatile. Here's hoping they put up the rest of the pictures tonight!

 

OMG *puts remains of credit card on desk and bangs head against it* NOnononononono! Bad Soom! Evil Soom! Don't do this to me! I don't care if she's a fox or a lox or a box. That is the face that could launch a thousand ships. She is so beautiful. I am sooooo screwed.

 

I never really check Soom that much >,< But she does look really beautiful! So fluffy *.* Love the general look of her. I don't think I'd get a MD though. At least not right now xD

 

I hope she comes with an OMGAMAZING fluffy-looking tail.

 

I can't wait for more pics, though I'm sure Soom will keep us hanging at least a couple of days as usual. xD But unless her profile bugs me (I tend to either love or dislike Soom's noses, lol) I think I'm gonna get her. After much searching I found a shorter, more posable body that I am 90% sure will work with cream white SG girl heads. So glad I held out on entering for a Dolpa doll! xD

I hope she has a cute tail to go with those ears. That's one thing that bugged me about Hati & Skoll, no ears or tail!
