and since my school is located in Shinjuku, I can always stop over in harajuku before school 8D;;; I have a feeling I'm going to be all "derhehehe 8D" seeing all the monthly dolls... XD

I hope I can too, right now I'm trying to pull in as much monies as I can so I can front some of the costs (and not take all of my college funds).. as of right now I can pay for the $300 application fee.. and I'm trying to sell my dolls so I can also afford to pay the $700 registration fee... bleeh monies...

I've started learning Korean and am going to be attending language school soon, assuming everything works out (though I have to do it alongside tuj argh).
If you end up going to the school I think I suggested to you, we'll be going to school in the same building xD

I found a language school in Shinjuku for about the same price as the one in Fukuoka! 8D which made me say HELLO TOKYO once again XD I'm going to be applying to a school called Arc Academy if I can get the monies from my college fund :3 I'm like really excited to (if I get the monies) live in Tokyo and go to school instead of Fukuoka (not like theres anything bad is just... yeah XD)

 

Agreed on Vesuvia's lips, you know. First thing I said as well, and a major reason I was immediately hypnotized. She's just so pretty! But dolls should come in different sizes and shapes, yeah? Soom's Fantasy Doll run has been medium breasted. Given that's the case, is it odd that they made a larger breasted doll? It's a couple years in and she's the first I've seen, I think. I don't have many of them, so has Soom made any small-busted SGems?

But they haven't stooped by making her big-busted, have they? I think the artist did a good job on a really pretty sculpt. Besides, Soom wouldn't have to resort to foolishness like that, would they? I would think it unlikely that they had another motive beside 'This character is a fox and she has large breasts'. Anyone think they're doing large breasts for large sales, possibly? :-o

Totally not beating you up either. I think you have a valid opinion. Not everyone likes large breasted dolls (and clothes can be a pain when your girl is buxom). I'm just interested in the implication that Soom had stooped to something.

Do you think maybe the Ves lips will win out over the big bust?

Anyway, I actually don't think there's anything wrong with her body -- not that I've seen it nekkid, but still. She's a fox. And she's a fox. I think I sort of expected it!

From what I've seen of DDs, I think they'd be too big for her but I could be getting them confused with another doll. And I think Iplehouse EID girls have bigger busts and are thicker (wider) so that might not be a good choice.
Once again, all guesses here.
Edit: I think about the dolfie dreams I think I was confusing them to have the dynamite body so disregard my comment about that, hahaha.

 

I have to say, after seeing all of her, I'm really disappointed . Which is pretty sad because usually the MDs are all I wanna get.. This time around... not so much. Oh well, congrats to those who get and love her regardless!

The Gems are really childlike, the Super Gems have had average boobs up to now, where are the big boobed dolls for those of us with annoyingly huge chests in real life to look at and go.. I AM NOT ALONE!

I think we also have to remember that Soom are in Korea.
Asian people on the whole have much smaller chests that we do - you don't want to know the number of times girls have ran up to the street and GRABBED mine.
So they look at big chests as amazing, and sort of fantastical.
I very much doubt that Soom were stooping to make some extra cash with big boobs, but rather that they think big breasts are amazing and really wanted to include them in one / more than one of their dolls!
It's all just speculation, but I don't think there's the same negative stigma around big chests that some people in the West seem to have.

 

Well Iple House has Jessica and Luna, and those are very curvy, very beautiful dolls. Funnily, the Jessica bust is the same size (I think I'm remembering right) as the Mecha Angel girls. Depending on Breccia's measurements. Soom has slowly started putting out clothes for the Mechas (and they go with the story line!), and Iple House has some really great clothes.

 

OMG Swifteh, I have all my fingers crossed for you, you have no idea. Going to language school would have been a dream for me. I hope you get there! Do you have any idea when you might know? Not that it's my business -- I know it's not -- it's just that it's so exciting! (You don't have to answer me, btw, but please accept my good wishes all the same!)

Oh I know where that is! One of their schools is right next to where I used to live.. the other is over by the train station I think!

I didn't mean it that way There's no one more devoted to Soom
than me (IMO I know!) jut go to the old Idealian thread & see
how often I was attacked for saying Soom was better than IH!!
THIS is what I mean:
Soom knew it was time to introduce a new SG body and they decided
(like IH) to introduce a new bust size instead of adding a completely
new doll. Although to me the rest of her body looks different too.
We won't know her measurements until Soom tells us! TY.

Though I wonder if it's just the big breasts making everything look different? Like of course her waist is going to seem smaller compared to them, for example.

Hopefully Soom will put up some pictures.. if not, I might have to sneak a tape measure into the Soom store!

Hm. See, I think Soom is doing all right in sales. They seem to be coming back on track with shipping in a big way. Aren't they about to move the doll sales dates in Japan back in line with the rest of the world soon? I donno if they might have seen some kind of lag in sales and thought 'Let's do something daring here', and then brought out the skullcap and the large bust to pick things up. What I do know is that some artist back there is adventurous. Idealian is an excellent example of this.

And, OMG, did you accidentally slap any of those poor girls? It's not in your nature I would think, but I'd actually be afraid I'd do it from shock alone. I'm not really so busty, but I've always sort of had this flat stomach and I'm kind of narrow, which can make the upstairs look bigger. I don't think I could take someone I didn't know running up grabbing me in public. You're a level-headed sort, Midnitestar.

I plan on doing an October enrollment... so I have to get papers and monies moving as soon as I can because the COE can take 5-6 months to get to me so I can go and get my visa.. I just have to talk to my grandpa about using my college fund monies.. and I'm waiting for a good day for him that he isn't being a usual grumpy old man 8D;;;

Wow, large bust, really? And here I was thinking Super Gem girls had big boobs already! lol I kind of like the look of them (for my succubus character) but she already has trouble stuffing her normal Super Gem sized boobs into clothes.

I really don't like the new head cap! I understand the idea behind it, I just don't think it is necessary or really all that aesthetically pleasing.

Over all though, she is one cute doll! I've already decided to invest in another doll right now or I would take a chance on her. I look forward to owner pics! Maybe I'll snag her in the market place when she starts showing up there.

Also, woot for more cards! I so love collecting them.
