Lol at first i was against her big chest... but know, hey she can work it lol. I think it suits her... especially the personality im putting with her (no she's not trashy... just sassy... wasn't supposed to rime but oh well lol)
this is of topic but... I love vintage barbie XD i have some... had some... that my mom had and they were so fun... but i sold them for doll money then spent that money on a bike soooo.

 

I've said it once.. I'll say it again (and again and again).
FANTASY RESINS. PLEAAAAAAAAASE SOOM.
They can even just do it with the tinies to make it less of a risk.. that way they can just release one WS and one crazy skin and all is good.

I still really adore Bambicrony for releasing their coloured elves (I have 2) and am sad they won't be releasing anything else like this until the end of the year.
I know other companies (like Impldoll) and releasing fabulous coloured dolls.. but owning a lot of Soom dolls has made me VERY picky when it comes to facial sculpts. I expect a ridiculously high level of quality now, and many companies just can't seem to match up to it.
So other companies releasing fantasy resins doesn't help me.. cause what I really want to see is a SOOM SCULPT in fantasy resin!!
More pearl resin too please... I didn't get Amber and reallllly would like some pearl resin!!!

I wish they'd do something with Vesuvia's skin colour again too.. I actually much prefer it to their grey! A tiny in that colour would make me SO HAPPY!

Ok.. BRECCIA. I do wish she was in a fantasy resin colour actually.. or at least that her parts were a bit more special.
We've had transparent parts, pearl parts, then with Chalco we had coloured parts... suddenly going back to a doll with no fancy parts seems like a bit of a step backward?
I adore her face, and I adore the fact that she has bigger boobs.. love those hands too.. but I think I was hoping for MORE from her fantasy parts?

I am still tempted to get her though, then be on the lookout for another girl later in the year with better fantasy parts but a head I don't like so I can swap Breccia in and part with the rest.
Now I've started running my own splits, I definitely like doing it.. a) because I like helping people.. and b) because I much prefer having the control.. so I definitely might start doing this more in the future!
I WAS going to get Breccia, split off her body, then have her share a body with Cuprit but.. these new bigger boobs allow me to justify another WS Super gem.. DAMN YOU SOOM!

Yeah, I follow. I used to be really small, and, at that time, it was like 'I picked up my laundry basket, now I have abs'. It's harder to do that when you gain though, I know that too. Fortunately, people don't have to look the same to be awesome. I like that about life. <g>

It's been girls-night-out in this room tonight though. <g> Everyone is so much fun!

 

well this IS the first doll in the new line. Their starting simple and (hopefully) build up to different colors and such... kind of like the other lines...

or something like that~

I'm still holding out for them to do something INSANELY creative at some point (probably with a tiny as it might be too much with a super gem) and make an ENTIRE DOLL out of special resin.. so pearl resin or transparent resin or whatever.
I really have no idea how this might work, but I REALLY want to see them try!!

 

Oh, I always thought it would be cool to have, like, a line of tropical fish for dolls, you know? Or butterflies. I don't at all mind pearl resin -- I have some pearly parts of for Cass and Galena -- but I would rather see some snazzy colours. I missed out on Vesuvia too. I know you have a Kayla coming though. I am REALLY hoping you put up pics when she shows.

What I would probably change about Breccia would be her tail though. Someone already mentioned how it would be great if that tail were red, and I agree! She is supposed to be a fire fox, no? Otherwise, I would love to see pale orange airbrushing on a doll like this!

Is it easier to do cool colour resins, btw? Why so much purple, grey and even blue, but no golds, or oranges? I do, however think that, even without extreme resin for her fantasy parts, she shows a lot of promise. Someone like Miss Aly would just make Breccia completely unbelievable!

well if it was transparent, you'd see all the stringing... which would be really weird to look at D:

 

welllll... they could make the strings out of a cool sparkly sort of string that would sort of match with the whole flow of the thing

 

Or it would be REALLY AWESOME. I have a Domuya Drui and one of the things I love is that you can actually see her stringing in her legs. It really adds to the overall feeling.

But yeah, maybe pearl resin would be better then? Or they can CREATE NEW STRING. xDDDD

I was thinking it would be all cool and clockwork if you did it in the right colours, sort of Ghost in the Shell, or, at the other end of things clock-work SteamPunk. Real Mecha Angels.

 

midnitestar, you know I am with you on the fantasy resin!

I think that, apart from the fact she's sweet and lovely regardless of her somewhat ominous storyline, Breccia is kind of like, establishing. So she's the start of the new year, she's not hooved, she's a fox-girl, and she's a return to, maybe, some of the sweeter faces of yesteryear. I think it's Soom's way of going back while still going forward. Maybe they've heard the hooves message, though as always, it's a mixed message since hooves sell so well.

So like any good roller coaster ride, the initial movements start off slow, and then increase from there, or at least I hope they do! I'm thrilled they went back to grey resin last year and it seemed to sell well at least for the Bygg line, and Galena didn't bomb. And then they ended the year with tan, and Chalco sold well, even if it looks like poor Afi didn't (but dollie regret is overtaking people now for Afi).

Down the line, I'm hoping to see another new resin color this year, but I'm not surprised they held it back from Breccia, just a little disappointed, as I would've liked differently-colored resin bits like Chalco had, at least.

Ya, thats where it might pop up first.. Im just not a fan of mecha amgel girls big fish lips and manly jaw bones... so im safe from those giants lol, any way... back OT, does anyone think that tale comes of?? cause there are some pics without it...

 

Oh, I do hope the tail isn't like Topaz' wings, a part of the outfit, but I think they learned from that.

But I wanted to put a vote in for the, ahem, well-endowed amongst us! Gots to love your girls, girls! And everyone's got a cross to bear when it comes to those ladies no matter the size, I'm sure Breccia's got her own opinions on 'em too. But the important thing is not just self-love, it's dollie love. Love your dolls! The girls, and uh, the guys with man-boobs too! I'm lookin' at you Angelheim Zion! (LOL! Not really, but his promo shots were a little startling for some! )

midnitestar7: well... cats DO have three toes (or at least mine did XD) so calling her kitty isn't gonna be to weird lol. I can see her as a cat and a fox so idk :-)
