Soom MD February 2010 - Breccia Moon Wish

Oh, bjdnewbie, you wound me! I'll at least say that you'd have to see a Saiph in person to believe her beauty. She's my only Mecha, and she's astonishly lovely!

 

ok so i will admit that all my judgments are based on pics... but i will say... i was considering saiph for a moment lol. There might come a day when a mecha pleases me XD.

 

Ahahaha it's true.. you do! You always wait for the Soom store shots before making a purchase. xD

Supposedly she hits the store on the 3rd.. but they're usually closed on Wednesdays which the 3rd is, so I think they made a mistake there.
Then I have class all day Thursdays so, the earliest I could get there would be the Friday, the 5th.

I'm waiting to see her before I decide too.
I really LOVE her face.. and I really want these new boobs, especially since I suspect there's a chance this might be a one off body, especially if it's not popular.
But overall her vibe just ISN'T very me, and she wouldn't fit in with my dolls at all! Her face sculpt is fine, but all her clothes and very natural light painting (which I'd be getting cause I'm fullset girl).. I just don't know! I really love her, it's just, is she for me?
Or, would she actually be a great addition because she's so light and a nice contast to all my much darker dolls?

 

I wonder if they changed anything else on the body. I'd be curious to know if some of the previous Soom MD fantasy parts would fit, particularly the leg parts that only changed below the knee (like Cass' fishy legs). It's only looking like the headcap and bust changed, though I could be wrong.

 

I am soo jealous of ppl who have doll stores near them, especially Soom. I would love to just walk around one of those stores. If I saw her in person it might be harder to resist. lol

 

It definitely is harder to resist when you can actually see them!
Though at the same time, if you like fullsets like I do, sometimes it's a bit of a comfort. Because you know that even if you don't have the doll at home, you can get on the train and go and see it, enjoy it, then go home.
That's the only reason I was able to get over my Beryl and Topaz angst!

It's so true! You know I love the store shots, and only your pics will do! I'm more than happy to wait until Friday, that gives me the weekend for...contemplation. Since I'll be doing a layaway, and I'm sure to be going for fullset on her myself, I'm not going to lose much by waiting a handful of days anyway. I've earned my Soom veteran badge, LOLOL!

Love the face, I can see her next to Topaz now, each of them trying to out-adorable the other, yeah! And the body should be interesting, but I wonder if they will Iplehouse it and offer both types? That's not very Soom though. It was radical when they offered optional fantasy parts on Cass.

But I'm wondering if you do want a fullset. I mean the eyes aren't LE, and the shoes aren't needed when you've got adorable hooves, but you could get her custom-blushed to be more in-line with your overall doll vibe. The problem is that Soom's blushing is amazing, so it's a tough call. I definitely think you'll need to check her out in the store, IRL, to see if the blushing will do it for you or not. Remember Galena... And I mean that both ways, LOL!

It's quite funny actually... One day before all the Breccia pictures went on line, I showed one of my online friends (who isn't really into bjd's herself but she likes my dolls) a picture of my naked Galena. And she was like "Woah, she has big boobs!".
And now Soom releases a girl with even bigger boobs.

But honestly, I like these big boobs.
When Iplehouse released their EID woman with big boobs, I was like "I really want to have at least 1 big boobed girl in my dollcrew". But I'm more fan of Soom dolls than Iplehouse's.
So I am glad Soom has given this girl big boobs, so I can fulfill my 1 BIG boob doll in my doll crew.

 

Ok I got an answer about whether the outfit would fit a regular SG girl and Jin Lee said:

"YES, it will be fit on to the regular MD girls, but it can be little bigger for their torso parts."

So I guess that means that Beccia only has an enhanced chest area and not anywhere else, which means that the other MD parts will fit her, and visa versa. I'm still on the fence about whether I get her outfit. Maybe I can find something to help 'fill it out' when Cass wears it lol

 

It would be great to know exactly HOW much bigger the bust is
compared to the normal SG bust, has anyone asked for measurements?

 

Oh yes her boobs are really big, but I´m happy to get this beautifull hot fox girl in my crew, and my boys are happy too (I think they will like her bigger boobs also ^^)

 

So another day has gone by.. and I'm currently thinking.. a giant big yes. We shall see xD

 

lol, i suppose any crew of boy dolls would be happy with her around XD!!! But im still deciding on to keep the big chest or not... still leaning to keep it as they may only do it for her.

 

Well I think the only reason I'm actually able to even think about getting is cause of the big chest!
Not necessarily cause those are some nice big boobs, but because I already told myself a long while back, NO MORE SUPER GEMS UNTIL THEY ARE A FUNKY FANTASY RESIN COLOUR.
So Breccia is WS, which means technically she should be off limits for me.. but this special body makes her different.. and so OUTSIDE OF MY RULE! Bwahahaha!

Totally missed this before.

I'm already thinking (like 99%) of not getting the eyes.. cause they're not LE, and they're NOT SPARKLY. I also wouldn't give her blue eyes either - currently pondering giving her Iv's sparkly pink eyes that I got in a split.
Were the eyes LE I'd get them even if I didn't plan on using them for her.. but they're not so.. no point.
The shoes too are a tough call.. because they're SO CUTE, and in true MUST HAVE FULLSET fashion, they complete the outfit. BUT, I'd never be taking those feet ot.
I got Cass's human outfit and her shoes in 2 separate splits. The shoes came ages ago with the eyes, the human outfit is yet to arrive. But I have not ONCE tried on those shoes. It's at the point where I might just sell them on because I am NEVER taking Titania's hooves off unless its to replace them with other fantasy feet.
So like, while I WANT the Breccia shoes.. I'd never use them. We know that. xD

The blushing thing is reaaaally tricky... because I ADORE Soom's blushing.. I just adore it so much. I've only seen one person on DoA who I think could blush well enough to match my ridiculously high standards - I want something as good as Soom. But that person doesn't do body blushing, so I'd have to send her somewhere ELSE to get her blushed and of course sanded too.. and I probably wouldn't be able to get her with the faceup because any blushing ideas I'd come up with just wouldn't match that faceup - and I always have to have the Soom faceups cause again, I really like them.
So I think it will be a case of, I get her with everything except eyes and shoes, or I don't get her at all.
Basically how I feel about her in person is going to decide it!!

 

It's sad, that you can't just order body and fantasy parts blushing seperately~

I only order blushing, because I like the bodies blushed and I do not care so much about the hooves/paws being blushed~ But I'm not very representative, as I'm not too interested in the fantasy parts. ^^"

 

lol im the exact opposite, i like the fantasy parts but the actual body being blushed is something i could live without .

 

I... just want everything blushed.. and sanded. xDD

 

lol me to :~D!!! She is so cute, but im still leery of how hard it will be to find cloths... though i could always make some. Do you think soom will put out cloths for this new size now?

 

My guess is that they'll make some biweekly clothes for this size chest.. or they might just make bi weekly clothes with tops kind of like Cuprit's top, where it's basically laced up and so you can make it a bit bigger if your girl needs the extra room. xDD

I only dress my Soom dolls in Soom fantasy clothes so, I don't see clothes being a problem for this one.. plus I'd be getting her default outfit for sure so, not too worried about that!
I am worried about MONEY though!
