Soom MD February 2010 - Breccia Moon Wish

I love her face, even if she reminds me of Liv Tyler (and I don't like Liv Tyler).

Hate the boobs. Soom dolls have too-big, balloonish boobs already.

I might actually have gone for her, but I really can't justify spending that kind of money when I'm trying to flee the country. Such a shame, because her face is really, really nice.

 

I wish they offered her without all the fox parts, kind of like Iplehouse is offering Tedros. That way, if you're not really interested in paying for all of those other parts, you don't have to

I have lots of boxes filled with hooves, antlers, etc.~ And I don't use them

 

Honestly, if I were the creator of a doll, I would not want to know that there were a lot of people out there paying for parts that they don't really want.....
Hmmm, if Iplehouse starts outselling Soom with their monthlies and how they re-release limiteds, we may start to see Soom loosen up a bit. Money always speaks the loudest!

 

I love her, but, (which seems to be the theme here) she's HAYUGE! (huge) I'm a fan of yo-sized and smaller, but Oh how I wish I could handle a doll her size.

 

I can certainly understand that! I just got an older CW body and was appalled at the seams. I mean, 1/8" seam sticking up across the hip ball joint and plenty of them elsewhere as well-and this doll had been partially sanded!

I'm sorry, but for what you pay for a Soom, this shouldn't happen. You shouldn't have to pay them more to correct that. Though maybe they have gotten better lately-my Beyla is very smooth.

This girl has a very pretty face, but I'd really only be interested in the head and it looks like there are plenty of splits where the head is taken and the bodies are going begging. So I'm safe this time around. I really need a Supergem boy anyway. Or safe for a couple more months, at least, if they do things like they did last year.

 

After putting dolls on hiatus for a few ..well, erm one month or maybe longer :p, this girl cought my eyes and went into my heart! Although I am having to settle with the paws and outfit only. As midnite, soom took a lot of my money last year. So This outfit and paws are going to be for my Anima (MD amber). So im just happy to get those parts .

 

Anyone have the link to the waiting room here for this girl because I can't find it and with me that just means I'm being dingy and just not seeing it.

Still trying to decide to get her or not. I love the fox feet so much and they would look gorgous done in white and black, but I also adore the blushing she has. I'm starting to like the shape of her boobs even though I'm not a fan at all for bigger boobs. Soom really should have saved the big boobs and new headcap for their regular dolls or at least tested sales before doing it with a monthly doll which I'm sure is bringing in the money for them. Seem some people are turned off by her. I really wish they'd do what Iple did too, Tedros is selling like hot cakes.

OOOOoooo i want her so super much XD!!!! She seems so spunky yet why did they not do limited eyes with her? I don't like pupil less eyes and if these aren't special... why?

 

hmmm, I think I'll need to see new pics of her before I decide if I want her or not. Fox parts are cute, but not needed at all for me. So it's a bit iffy for me at the moment. *is hoping not cause she wants to save*

I really love her face but not so much on the faceup I think, its all a matter of preference after all
she is just soo cute I dont wanna regret not having her (thinking about having her as a first bjd) aah! they should have posted some of her body pics without the blushing\face up I think that would really help me decide wither or not go for it , especially for that amount of money
also, I agree with all of who said she got HUGE uneeded boobs, but who know maybe that will be a factor in increasing her price in the market place as she is the first Soom MD with bigger breast and new head cap

 

They may still post some examples of her next to a regular SG girl body if enough people request it in Q&A, so don't give up hope! She's a lovely girl, and you're very right about faceups, it all depends on personal taste and what sort of style your dolls may have, but then that's why so many of us order blanks! It's good to have a hobby where everyone can be right!

I'm still looking in my wallet and crying a little, but I'm resolved to wait until midnightstar goes into the Soom store to take her pics, I never buy until I see in-store pics anymore. Sooms pictures are like wonderful sweet candy, but IRL pics give me a better idea of how passionate I am for having a doll.
