[Soom MD/March] Shonki & Appini Bestia Animo!

I love the little white kitten, I might not be able to pass it up...personally I think the little sausage legs are downright /adorable/. XD But that's just me.

Anyone know if Soom would be willing to swap out outfits? I really love Shonki's clothes, but I'm not a fan of the lighter outfit. :\

 

Damon: never hurts to ask. I got a wig coupon from the contest and was wondering if I could use it on the Appini wig so I'm asking them about it.

Here's the Shoki faceups XD Someone mentioned tigers so decided to use that for two of them tried to make them stand out and metallic lol One shows with brows and the other without just for comparisons.

I think I actually like the purple tiger the best, and the colour scheme is definitely close to what I had in my mind!
Wow if that level of metallic sexy could be achieved on the black resin, I'd be rolling around I'd be so happy!

Wow, those mock-ups look cool! They really change the sculpt more interesting.

I´m not a pro using the paint thing, but I made also a pic. (My girl will not have black hair, but there wasn´t good shade of brown available.) Anyways, she looks so much cuter without the red eyes.



As I watch this pic, it really reminds me about Ante or Leah of Fairyland Littlefees. That´s probably reason why I got finally soomed, after all this time. I love most the babyish faces which look like very small children.

I've been doing mockups too, but they were done really quickly
my Ares is going to have one part of his ears red, then orange, then yellow. Kind of like fire scheme. I'm thinking I'm going to do his legs and arms like that too. I've decided his eyes will be light yellow

 

Thanks ya'll with the right paint and powders such metallic looks can be achieved. I actually have airbrush paints that looks this metallic and yet they are slightly sheer lol

Ohhh!!! Very neat mock-ups! Certainly makes me interested, although I'm still not getting the full doll.

As for the fantasy parts, I seem to be at a standstill . I was possibly about 2 seconds or so late in grabbing a full kitty part set off the splits so now I have everything from that one seller but the kitty leg parts and paws (which are what I really wanted in the first place).

Does anyone know, going by previous tiny trends, are there chances of more splits going up later on this weekend / the following week? I know of one place to get the leg paws but they're twice the price I've seen on DoA .

 

I was HOPING, like many others, that they'd be foxes, not because I wanted a fox- in fact, for precisely the OPPOSITE reason! Foxes are cute and all, but I've been totally turned off them from the whole Otaku'tard "OMGTOTALLIKAWAIIKITSUNE" crap all over the net.

My fellow doll collecting housemate showed me the preview, theorizing they were baby Breccia's, like the baby Ambers.... I was incline to agree and hope, saying if they were kitties, I'd be GONE.

Wow....these are beautiful! This actually stopped my dislike and now makes me quite interested in this little one! Amazing what a good faceup can do. Great idea!!

 

Can anyone tell me how do I do a layaway for SOOM? Do I have to leave a question with my order number, and they send an invoice like Bambicrony? What are the layaway terms? I'm still searching the FAQ, but the one link they have about layaway is not good.

Added this requested mockup in the waiting room, gonna just start post any further mockups there lol I think I posted enough here to give folks a better idea ^^

 

I personally loved the sausage legs but it was simply too pricey for me to buy it and keep the fantasy parts. Plus I have 3 Pipos cats, I don't want to add a catgirl to the collection!

My little one's name will be Haru. She's based pretty much on Chihiro from Spirited Away. Haru is stubborn and spoiled and quite often says the wrong thing. She gets angry a lot because people think she's only 2 or 3 when she's actually 9 years old, way older than her baby face lets on! She's surprisingly quick thinking for her age but is still rather dense when it comes to matters like tact and sharing. I'm ordering a reddish brown tinybear wig for her that I'll be straightening and styling into pigtails. I requested the above mockup but decided on reddish brown, but she will definitely have bright blue eyes! I know there's more to Haru, I just don't know it all yet.

 

I think, personally, that I'd need to have a pupil-eye for either of them (though I'm only getting Shonki). Mock-ups with a pupil kind of give them a 'present' look that the pupilless eye doesn't have, and where their eyes are so-so wide, they need that added to the overall face, for my own tastes at least. I'm off to start figuring out whch pupil-eyes will work best now!

Ayperi, your faceups remind me of Mardi Gras masks; they just need some feathers and beads to be truly ostentatious I'd love to see that on a Shonki!

I think I was more impressed by these little kitties when the teaser was up (I was hoping that behind Appni's little paw was a larger, more babyish pout but alas....), considering the level of blushing with the other monthlies these are quite the disappointment But the potential is there so I look forward to owner pictures!
