[Soom MD/March] Shonki & Appini Bestia Animo!

Thanks I've been tempted by shonki myself but have no characters that are that dark and can only afford one anyways. I would love to try to paint the metallics or on such a dark resin, but right now my faceups are intermediate at best. I'm also still trying to master my airbrush some but would use the paints with paint brushes. Guess I'll practice on a black sheet or paint and object black lol

Ayperi, is there any chance I could be so bold as to ask for the black haired blue eyed mockup to have reddish brown hair added? I'd love to see what she might look like that way @_@

 

Also, I'm surprised no one has been wanting Shonki to make him/her into a tiny Drow!! That would be so cute...

I don't know if that's what PenguinCheese meant, but as far as I know, Drows are dark elves ;3 and that, indeed, would be terribly cute IMHO.

Sure thing Is there a specific wig you have in mind? I can put the face on that wig As I've mentioned, since i'm getting Appini, myself, I'm open for free mockup on either of them, because it'll help me with some ideas for mine. I'm debating between black and white hair for my appini and whether they'll be boy or girl, my "angry" mockup looks so like a cute boy XD lol decisions, decisions ^^;

No prob, you'd simply get someone to mod some on or just get some epoxy and dye/paint it black, or make some polymer clay over the ears and then take them off, bake them and glue them on :3 there's lots of ways for it and since it's such a nice shade of black, it won't be hard to match it up.

 

Well, I'm doing a natural tibetan mohair wig, Ayperi, so really, any style will work, just as long as it's reddish brown. And I'm probably going to do semi-angry eyebrows on one face and neutral on the other. ^o^

 

kk here's a mockup Not sure how bright the hair you wanted but I picked out something that was close to the color and enchanced it to were it look more brown...Luts says it's light brown but it look more red brown to me lol Had figured you weren't particular and worked on it after my last post lol

And a drow, OMG, that would be too cute. If someone winds up doing that they have to post pics. I might wind up getting one second hand if I see how cute he looks like that. lol

Rezei-Chan- You're right, the purple does look greatwith the face up- also the slight purplish tinge to the paws and ears...

Ayperi- Wow, really neat mock ups there!

PenguinCheese- The bright blue eyes really stand out witht he black hair. I love black hair on the Cream Whites. I've got a Spinel witht hat combination and it looks really dramatic. But the brownish looks much warmer... tough choice!
I love the pesonality too- how will she get along with your others?
And you're right, the Shonki would make a perfect little Drow... surprised no one has jumped on that one yet!

A mock up of my Lalana- Limited Royal Cadet Blue Leeke wig, probably not this style though I think (I did consider the Misty as well, it seems to be a popular choice, but I already have two purple haired dolls. Well one doll, one head!)
Ersa Flora Metellic eyes- I deal her eyes through Indollgence, so it's far too tempting and easy to get them! And they're sooo pretty!
Keeping her kitty parts on, blushing them purplish-blueish-greyish. She's also not coming with the default faceup, but she'll get one similar!

I haven't tried, Soom has never been willing to swap outfits in the past. Waaay back in the beginning of tinies with Glot and Glati, you could even choose to get, for example, Glati eyes or clothes or whatnot from the dropdown when ordering a Glot, or vice versa, but after several such orders had been placed Soom came out with the 'NO' ruling on this, which frustrated a lot of people. So I'd say it's probably pretty unlikely.

I think they did it to avoid messing orders up, as I'm sure some people probably got the wrong outfits. Although it would be nice if they had a better selection of wigs and clothes (at least for teenies) I got a wig coupon that I'm unable to figure out how to use it, I may just have to let them know now to charge it X.x lol I'm probably gonna wind up adding to my layaway X.x lol

 

Sigh. Must say I'm disappointed in these little guys. I was so..SO excited for the black resin, but the face sculpt...I just cant enjoy it. I think I would have bought them in a second if they didn't focus on such scrunched up small faces. I don't mind that the black resin ones face-up is not very well painted, I mean you order it blank and BAM fix it yourself! But just...gah. I mean I wish they were foxes too but with a bit a blush it wouldnt have been hard to make foxy colors for the feet and paws, mind you the hand-paws are more feline-like. I just wish they fixed up the face-sculpt a bit. I really wanted that black resin one >.<

I hope soom doesn't get discouraged from doing fantasy colored resin again. I really like that option. Im hoping so much for a grey resin vamp bat, with resin bat wings / drools. BUT thats a whole different topic haha.

I was excited soom stepped out of the water and did a fantasy color of resin...but the face just isn't doing it for me. OH WELL. Saves my wallet for awhile! Im excited for next months male though!
