[Soom MD/March] Shonki & Appini Bestia Animo!

If you look really hard at the sleeping, black one, you can see the nose is painted to look like an animal nose. I looks like just paint to me, but it might be sculpted that way.

 

Oh dear. They're just to cute!!!! I do believe I have officially been Soomed. Does Soom accept kidneys as payment?

 

they are uber cute! i like the white skin a lot more. but i dont need/want em so im safe *phew* if they looked more foxy that would be another story. they look a lot like kitties to me which is also cute ^^

I was hoping to go up until the NYC Dolpa without any new dolls but these kids are so adorable D:.

I feel bad but I'm hoping that they don't look cuter/ more wantable when the full pics go up >_<.

 

The white/creamy painting around the nose area you mean?
I had just assumed that was paint rather than a different sculpt, but maybe the nose IS different?

I can't wait to see the OE head in black though! EVERYTHING is resting on this for me! xD

oh dear lord. Never before have I been so utterly soomed. At least one of these babies will be coming home to me, even though I have no use for them whatsoever. *sighs* And I was doing so well with not buying anything.

I think I'd normally be safe from these 2 as they just seem SO childlike, and that's really not my thing.
But BLACK RESIN.. black.. resin... passing up on that seems VERY UNLIKELY!

Speaking of, I wonder how hard the black resin is going to be to paint??
Normally I get fullsets, or at least get the faceups and blushing, but I have these feeling that for once Soom's style just isn't going to be my thing here. I might be able to do a lot more if I just got someone else to do the faceup and body blushing/parts painting.
Never done that before so, it would be a first!

 

I agree with Dolly, I think they are sitting in flower pots. As much as I'd die if they were 16cm size I'm pretty sure they arn't *cries* But more tinys Yay I mean my bank account is pretty upset but meh lol

I like the black 1 the more I look at him(And er I recon they will be gendered ) but so far I love the little face of the white 1. This eyes and that little button nose are exactly my cup of tea! I adore cute! I have to see the mouth though to be sure. And I've never liked glittery eyes before but those red 1s are lovly

I'm not to sure about the outfits (this is a good thing! theses cuties are becoming more affordable ) And the wigs don't ;look like anything special either

And I have to agree with what someone said (I think it was you midnight) That the blushing on the little white 1 seems a bit non-existant... A bit disappointed there. But yeah...this just means... MORE AFFORDABLE! lol

Arghhh NOOOOOO.. They CAN'T Be boy and girl.
My life will END if they are boy and girl. They're NOT ALLOWED TO DO THAT TO ME.
Because you KNOW they'll make the CW one the girl and the black one the boy.. and then I will be stuck either not getting my black resin doll, or I'll have to try and ignore the boy parts or, I DON'T KNOW.

Anyway, yeah it was me that said the blushing seems very non existant!
I think the idea is to keep them as close to polar opposites as possible. So the white one is VERY white and the black one is VERY black.
The more blushing and colour the added, the less that effect it would be.
I think I'd rather have much stronger blushing either way, which would definitely save me a lot of cash!

 

That black resin really interests me pretty much, can't wait for the rest of the pictures. ^w^

 

Well the black 1 grows on me more and more... but if I got the lil white 1 with her kitty/foxy/whatever! parts she'd probly get blushed up a bit red to be more fox like... But meh I dunno ... I'm still pretty much on the fence :P But I do love what I can see of the face...and omg THAT NOSE! *pokes it*

if they do make the black 1 a boy you could always get a very good modder to mod him to girl for you... i mean apart from the little er...'lump' *giggles* the bodys are pretty much the same right ?

 

What really bothers me is the 'fox' ears... Why does Soom have to make two pairs of ears to them? I mean, Breccia had also the fox ears and human ears. It just seems silly to me.

 

Can you mod coloured resin though? I mean, maybe it would work? I'd have to send 'it' off to get painted up anyway perhaps so, could get it modded while the painting was happening.
I do think the bodies are identical except for the hip part.

I wonder too why they always give them 2 sets of ears!
It could be that the doll needs to have human ears to stay human, but there's no way of putting the fox ears over the human ears if you want them on the top of the head.
I suppose people could just sand off the human ears?

I actually like the body blushing on the white one this time around and I normally don't get the blushing for various reasons. Luna's blushing is suppose to be more subtle as she's like a white wolf cub. I've decided I'm going to somehow get the white one cause she'll have pretty much everything I need for Luna, and I won't have to worry about paint chipping off as much. I've airbrushed the skoll parts I got now to match the extra Beyla body to make Luna, but after seeing this it's like it's all right there. I'm actually not too worried about the tail, cause worse case scenario, I'm getting a different one anyways (I've seen doll site that's selling just the tail I'd be looking for anyways, a nice fluffy white one XD). Right now I got a feeler out for the body/set I got now and I'm debating if I should sell it if I'm just going to replace everything or keep it for another character... after awhile I'm starting to lean towards saving it for another character (ya never know ^^;.. and after all I'm gonna be left with extra heads anyways X.x) only thing though is because of the body difference in skin tone I'm always gonna have to worry about the paint chipping and I certainly can't afford a normal skin body right now... sooo dunno O.o;
Go figure that after Breccia (which lovely but didn't catch me so I was safe) I said if they made baby foxes or something along those lines in CW skin I'd be in serious trouble and lo and behold the next one right after is just what I've said ><;; damn you Sooom!! You know I can't pass this one up ; ;

 

i wonder if 'bestia animo' is somewhat a lost in translation
now that i think about it 'breccia' seem an italian word as well
but 'bestia animo' did not have any meaning, maybe they wanted to say 'beast soul'?

 

Just for the heck of it I decided to give the photoshop mock up a try XD I'm not gonna get the black one, but figure to see what it could look like lol I gave it blue eyes since it might match the outfit.

I can't wait to see more photos, do you think they'll have tails like Breccia, or resin ones?
