Haha my natural hair colour actually IS blonde, but I bleach it to make it EVEN BLONDER cause natural blonde is generally pretty dirty and ugly looking unless living in a really sunny country that brings out the highlights. (I used to have pink, purple, red, blue, green (though this was accidental) hair mind you, which is why I have a certain fetish for dolls with crazy wig colours).
So yeah, when a company releases a supposedly BLONDE wig that's way darker than my own NATURAL blonde that I deem to gross to live with and insist on bleaching lighter, it's kind of weird!
I think it's because these dolls are made by people in Asia though.
Like when I go to get my extensions, the only shade I can use is the one they call "white".. but it really isn't white, it's just a light blonde that still a little darker than the colour of my hair!
It's really hard for them to get their hair down to these super light shades, so generally they consider BLONDE or whatever to be a shade much darker than we do!

Anyway, back on topic!
The eyes.. I WAS WONDERING.
From the second I saw the teaser I was thinking that these seem like WAY smaller eyes than we've had on other tinies so far. Are they small enough to by romantic?
Which means, are we getting 2 heads? Or is the default for this one just smaller slightly closed eyes, but not so much that it's a romantic head?

 

My guess is Friday evening (that's my time/Korea time).... of course they could drag it out until Monday evening!
After all, was it Chrom where there kept people waiting for DAYS AND DAYS? I don't remember but one of the MDs took AGES to get the full pics out!

 

Ahahah you're right about ALL THOSE THINGS!
Rosebud lips, earnest face, poised a little lady.. her face is PERFECT and I absolutely adore it. Soom couldn't have designed a better little face for me.
It's almost as if they designed her head SPECIALLY FOR ME because she's just SO perfect.

And I am soomed and will be bringing her home.. and have been thinking about snacks (trying to come up with something healthy this time cause this little tiny seems to scream LIGHT and HEALTHY plus, I'm trying to be more healthy in general this days! xD)

It's just, like you said, Soom's artists can't predict exactly what we want.
Even if they could, MY image of perfection isn't necessarily everyone else's imagine of perfection!
If I had my way we'd have a pink resin birdy or something crazy like that! ::laughs::
Maybe though this doll IS Soom's way of bringing together elements everyone will like. After all, I got sparky eyes and a REAL blonde wig (both I'd said I wanted) and a perfect little mature face. The clothes might be sparkly too.
Other people wanted resin wings and we've gotten them too etc etc.

So yes, while I say I'm disappointed, it's not disappointed in the sense that I'm not still REALLY excited about this one! I totally love her!
I am in NO WAY sad! xD
I'm just having to squash down the sadness that the image I had will never be made.
After all, the disappointment isn't with the DOLL herself, it's the way Soom have done her up. Isn't this why people by blank dolls then get them sent off to be fixed up to their image?
It really could be that, I'm such a fan of limiteds, being a collector that's what I go for. I'd NEVER considered doing anything to a limited so I didn't think about it.
This is the first time I've really looked at a doll and gone, 'I love what you've done Soom, I definitely want this doll in exactly your image, but perhaps I want one in my own image as well'.
Does that make any sense? I'm sure this is already normal for most of you, but it's a first for me!

So I'm quite tempted to get 1 fullset and 1 completely blank doll then go on a search for the perfect person (someone who's good at Soom style work) to do a faceup and complete blushing... maybe even dye her??)
We'll see what happens when then full pics come out!

 

Yeah, I've been to Norway and Sweeden and stuff a few times and DAMMIT they get the most FABULOUS blonde hair!
Sadly I am BRITISH.. and we brits get DIRTY UGLY BLONDE. xD

Same here! Partner for my Lilith (Glot) is needed!
Sorae (Bygg) and Erato (Eliv) are sort of going to pair up in a twisted way (I mean, look at how different they are!), so Lilith needs her own little buddy.
I can imagine the little birdie watching over them all, but having a soft spot for Lilith cause she's SUCH A WUSS! xD

I was actually going to do a search on DoA not for faceup artists but for Soom dolls and see which faceups I love and who did them.
There are just SO many faceup artists that it would take months to search through them ALL, and most of the time I just don't see styles I like.
Or often you see they have great pictures on their page, but then you see other photos of their faceups by the owners and they don't look that great!
It's kind of terrifying for me to spend all the money (shipping would be a lot for me) and risk not getting your doll back or something only to end up with a job you weren't 100% happy with!
I'll go check her out!

 

I'd definitely get purple and pink talons and wings, then PURPLE body blushing! It creates a bruised effect and is fantastastic!
And SPARKLY! That's something I love about the way Soom does their parts painting, it's always SO SPARKLY!!
Then the trick would be to come up with the perfect faceup.. I can already see lots of black and purple and silver with highlights of pink... WOW I'm thinking way too much about this and we've only seen the teaser pics! xD
