gloombox~ I think they probably are. After all, they're casted with plain CW soom resin... Maybe soom noticed their CW resin yellows a bit right after casting and that's why they wrote that. (My Heliot hooves for example have never been outside on the sun and were only twice in daylight for a short time, but they yellowed some anyway in the box...) So It might make sense. ^^; Pheww... I'm saved too from being completely Soomed. *phew* I really liked the way those wings looked on the teaser but in most of the angles they really are... little chicken! The clothes are totally cute too. Though I like their face the best among the little MDs so far too.
Someone needs to get some splits up already so I can start estimating costs!! xD Here's a weird question though, if I were to get Yrie, I'd want her to be sanded and body blushed (I love Soom's blushing and don't do it myself anyway. It would cost more to send her off to someone else than to just get soom to do it). Do people ever do splits for PAINTED parts? I mean, does anyone ever want that or does everyone just want the blank parts? I personally always wish people would split painted parts cause I LOVE Soom's painting, but I wonder if I'm the only one and if I put up a split, no one will want them!!!! x_x
Hm didn't like the feet at all at first, but its starting to grow on me. Though I think it would have been cooler if they had feathers sprouting out from behind its feet like at the calf. Now that would have been really awesome, along with some feathers sprouting behind its ears. Not sure about the winged hands, they look like such a hassle to get clothes on and off. I don't know if I like or hate the girl's outfit lol. They do look "busy" like there is too much going on at once and the belt around the pants is unflattering. I don't get why there is a crotch flower, it looks so out of place. O.o Really like the harem pant look tho and the cloaks, but maybe it would be easier to make my own. Ah decisions. Thankfully going to pass on the wigs, Soom's never did fit right.
Love their faces, totally in love for wings but ... i don't like their birdy feet... what it is? eagle legs? and both in cw.. well i'm not sure. as much as i'm in love in their wing - arms.
Hmm ... I think the boy's outfit is really cute! I love the turban. But I wish the feet had been three-pronged, and also that the winged arms had been ... bigger, somehow. Would love to mod one to have both human arms and wings, though. ^^ And dye one of them. .. I'm on the hinge of these! Luckily I have time to think.
Hurray for not being soomed again! LOL, I was a bit worried with that first pic of Yrie, but there's something that just makes me go "meh" over this whole release. So glad to be safe. ^^ I will be looking forward to seeing what others do with the sculpt, and I do think this is some of soom's best blushing. :3
I have to admit that the more I stared at the teaser pics, the more worried I became at the fact that I might be SOOMED. Luckily I'm not SOOMED at all ... the gorgeous faces are the only think I like here. The chicken feet arent for me
To me the feet look like little balloons. I am not sure how I feel about them. I like the wing arm design though. The dolls look like a cross between cherubs and chickens which is kind of funny but also endearing.
and now that I'm looking at these pics more and more, that face sticks to me! It is such a cute little face. And the eyes aren't totally open which I like. and that Yrie wig is growing on me as well *sigh* But with all this 'little' chicken' talks around (myself included), is there a market for splits for the fantasy parts? Does no-one like the feet?

I feel the same way. Really let down by the feet, not positive I even love the wings. I really just wanted them to be like Euclase - I can't get over them having only 2 claws at the front.

Soooooooomed... well, not entirely XD I want the wings (WINGS) and the claws. I'm planning on buying an extra torso for my Pipos Cheshire, and modding it so I can have a winged cat (who will still have arms XD). The claws I don't really need, but they are just so cute I definitely adore the mobility of the jointed wings, but I do think Soom should have made them an additional pair of limbs coming from the back, rather than replacement-arms. It would have been so easy to do! Hopefully my attempt to split off the human form of one of these teenies will go better than my failed attempt at a last-minute Sphaler split
You know I was wondering the same thing! I'm been very tempted to get a completely full set with sanding and blushing and everything, then split off the feet and wings. But I don't even know if anyone is going to want these parts at all, let alone get them with Soom's default painting!! x_x
I'm thinking about maybe hopping in a split to get the feet. I'm not even really sure I like them, but I have the habit of not liking something when it first comes out and then falling totally in love with it when it's too late. (I'm looking at you Hati and Skoll.) The tree hugging hippy in me is wondering wether the fur on the outfits is real fur or not. 'Cause I want the Yrie outfit but uh... fur. XP
I know.. if they had beautiful elegant Euclase type feet, this would have been perfect. I'd have still been a bit hmmm about the wings (I think the wings would be better stuck to the back with magnets and then normal human arms, definitely), but would have given them a try! As it stands, I'm not liking the fantasy parts at ALL, which for the doll with the most beautiful face so far, is very sad!

I'm trying so hard to hate their faces but.... it's not working. And I thought the strangest thing when I saw the first picture that showed the feet/talons. I thought boobies. @___@
