    2. Birdie-soomed! I really like their legs, I know that many people (including me) expected something more bird-like, slender and elegant - but I like how they are round and stylized. Works for me because my character is meant to be a little stupid messanger pigeon ;3

      I may have been the first one but Yrie's bought and the first part of the layaway paid! Woop!

      I have never been hit so hard by a Soom tiny. But these ones literally have me squawking in excitement (forgive the pun :lol:). Methinks I will get one.

    4. I love them so much. ;_; I'm torn between Yrie or Alk. I really want a boy tiny, but the face fits Yrie soooo much better. ♥ I know I at least need Yrie's outfit, so hopefully I can get in on a split.

      Really, I shouldn't even be buying one of these darlings, but I'm so tempted, and I know I won't be able to afford Galena. What to do...

    6. Well I got into a split for Alk's eyes so, that's a start! ::laughs::

      I'm wondering if I can afford it, if I should just go for the fullset with everything after I've seen them in person, then when they arrive, if I still don't like the birdie feet and wings, I can sell them then.
      At that point more people may like the parts, and more people might be interested in paying for sanded painted parts after they've seen owner pictures on DoA!

    7. I love the claws, myself. They remind me 100% of Hati/Skoll's paws, which looked ludicrous in Soom's photos, but absolutely adorable in all the owner pics.

      I don't want to risk missing out on these like I did on those gorgeous paws!

      Midnitestar, I don't think you should worry about the re-saleability of Soom fantasy parts - I don't think I've ever seen anyone had trouble selling them (except excessively greedy scalpers, and even they succeed eventually).

      There'll always be someone out there who either didn't realise how different MDs look in real life (compared to Soom's photos), or who wasn't in the hobby during the order period, or who simply couldn't afford them at the time.

      I know that if I couldn't afford them now, I'd be looking for them down the road. As long as you charge reasonable prices, you've got a pretty much 100% guaranteed sale, IMHO.

      I've never even CONSIDERED splitting up a doll before so when I thought about it, realized I didn't really know how it worked outside the splits that start up during the order period.

      You're right though, these 100% remind me of Hati and Skoll's paws, which I actually DID like and do regret not getting Hati.
      However, this time the sculpt is so beautiful and mature, I REALLY needed those feet to be elegant and slender. They're just too childlike.
      As with Hati and Skoll though, maybe I'll warm up to them when I see them in person!

      Right now I'm thinking of going for a completely fullset then debate the parts later.
      If I really like them in person, I might keep them anyway!!:)

      might have to bevel two holes at the back of the doll
      don't think the wings would be too heavy to cause the dollie to lose balance.. well or he can hunch abit but a pegasus would be love

    12. That's how I feel too. If we had those wings AS wings, then normal arms, they'd be so beautiful!
      I'd then just part with the feet and be 100% happy!
      As arms they look strange.. but I'm still hoping that's partly Soom's photos!

    17. Originally I was hoping for the wings to be on their backs but I really like them as 'arms'. They're like little baby harpies, and those are some of my favourite mythological creatures. I don't mind the feet either. They're cute and chubby. ♥ I'm really feeling the need to buy one of them... though I might want to blush the wings and feet a different colour. Grr. I need to win the lottery and buy BOTH of them! D:
