the girl looks like a kid between Amber and Euclase XD she's really cute though! I just like her human form though. as much as I wanted a baby birdy I don't like the wings or feet
Aww, those little feets are adorable! They do look to be in a style similar to Hati/Skoll's, which are SO unbelievably cute in person. And can you imagine how easily broken and/or dangerous those birdie feet would be if they were just like Euclase feet?? Still, not really my thing. And the wings look amazing but something about the lack of human arms bugs me in a way I can't quite pinpoint. Not to mention the fun of dressing them with those big ol' wings! xD But still I fear I may be Soomed . . . that FACE is so sweet, definitely one of my favorite TG sculpts yet; it even has elf ears! I knew there was a reason I did a split to get Beyla's pony parts, that's just the face for them.
I am slightly disappointed in the feet. I was hoping for something less chubby and grey skin, but I like the wings, and I was planning for my girl to be a little gargoyle-come-to-life anyway, so I think the feet may still work, or maybe I can give them sharper talons or something. I still LOVE her face, so I think I will bringing home a blank Yrie.
I cursed out loud when I saw them this morning. The faces are just darling. I'd like to have that head instead of the Beyla head, TBH... The arm-wingies are pretty cool, but not my thing. I'm not so big on claw feet either, but they did a really good job making them cute. Wish I afford to get the head somehow...D:
Well, I officially just ordered Alk. Looking forward to blushing him. I ordered him blank, since the outfit is way too Aladdin-esque for my tastes, and I'm going to turn him into a Raven. His name will be Tobias. Toby/Tobi, for short. ^^ I'm really interested to see what kinds of tiny birds all of our Yrie's and Alk's turn into.
I was wanting a grey one for exactly the same reason. I'm safe this time, they're cute, but not what I was hoping for.
I would have been sorely tempted by grey myself (to blush in deep jewel tones), but I still caved and bought the girl. (I'm thinking greens right now, but not certain.) Really, it's the owner pictures of Hati and Skoll that made me not hesitate in spite of the chunky boobishness of their feet... I didn't like Hati and Skoll's official pictures, but the shots of them blank in openings were much, much cuter, so I'm rather confident the same case will be true here. Now I just have to decide on a name for her, and make some clothes before she arrives...

I really like the girl. But I just wonder is that possible to put the wings on her back as normal wings? The wings seem a bit small compare with her body....
it looks like they are there instead of arms. I wish they worked as normal backwings though, that'd be super cute ^^' The only way i can imagine them working as normal wings is with a decent amount of modwork, though i have no idea how they'd be strung o_O (othwerise i might be tempted to do it too lol)
I totally Blame Animal planet for that Blue-footed Booby idea bouncing through our heads... and then The comments of "boobieclaws" just made it that much more epic.
i just put my alk on layaway so im excited but i heard the waits were long this is my first order from soom so im alittle nervous about it
My husband is in!! He says that when he gets paid on Nov 6th, I can order Yrie on 4 month layaway!! I will have to push back my other planned dolls but since Yrie is limited, I'm willing to do that! Hopefully they won't be pushed back too far!! This is my first time being truly Soomed! I kinda like it, but it's almost kinda scary! I didn't want the Birdie feet, but my hubby says he loves them cause they look like Chocobo's feet! hehe! Now I like them too! ^_^
