Wowza! He's a handsome fellow! If I wasn't trying to save for their October event I'd be royally Soomed. Especially since I'm already bringing his brother Obsidius home. Those tiger paws/legs are pure love and want. I'm happy Soom finally made some triple jointed legs for their Mega Gems.
Yes! Me too! Because that means they might do that again, and even though I probably cannot afford Phonolus right now, I might get a chance to own a Megagem boy with triple-jointed legs one day *dreams*
I agree - if I wasn't already planning on getting two guys from Soom's NYCC event, I may have been all over this guy... He just looks so beefy! Bad-ass!
I wish Soom would go back to giving us the option not to get the fantasy parts. He's so beautiful and I want him soooooo much. ;_; *shuffles off to do some thinking* Also other then the ears can anyone tell the difference between the pointy eared head and the human head?
I just checked it again and it looks like it's the other way around. But, thanks for pointing out the eyes.

Oh no, he's so fabulous, but he comes at such a bad time with all the other upcoming Soom releases. Totally random but the tiger stripes on his leg remind me of Ayla's (from Clan of the Cave Bear) totem mark scars. Now I'm going to have to pull that book out and check which leg hers were on lol
I wish Soom would sale the outfit by itself, it is very lovely. He is definately handsome, but I don't need him.
Omg, if he is a super gem then I will get him for sure. I love his face so so so much. Too bad he is a mega gem T____T, all my character aren't really the type of muscular guys. I wonder with the tawny skin, is it a new color? It makes him so sexy
Tawny skin isn't a new colour. Soom has only used it for the Idealian line so far. Branon was the first tawny skin I believe. Then there is Albany the recent Idealian and some other Idealian had tawny skin so far. But it's the first use on a Gem if I'm not mistaken.
He's so awesome, unfortunately I'm really only interested in owning Super Gems atm, and I can't afford that price tag. Phonolus is definitely my favorite Mega Gem to date, I kind of wish I could bring him home. He reminds me of a Chrom/Obsidius cross. Thankfully I'll have both so I guess I can live without him ^^ That tawny skin color would have looked SO good on Chrom!
Incredibly beautiful guy! I have fallen in love with his human head (dreaming head...) especially in the tawny resin and the wings are absolutely glorious...I can see them totally enclosing around and capturing a beautiful resin couterpart! ^^ Price tag - not so nice, but that is a big chunk o' resin there!
