Soom MD October: Nephelin – Sacred Vow

Oct 5, 2010

    1. Ok you're right about it,but since it's so easy, since the wig is pricey, why soom won't comb by itself?
      Why shall me?
Nothing is trivial, for such price i expect a perfect combed wig as showned in promo pics.My two.

    2. Then why soom shown us all the wig with different hairstyle then actual wig we'll get?
Simply something like this upesetting me quite a lot, as $abbatha said nothing is trivial, Soom get the price for this wig, if comes uncombed then it should cost a little less IMO.

    3. i put her on layaway i loves her

    4. *screams* OMG!!!

I didn't think she'd be amazing must have. But ... OMG!!! Wait... is this just the shock talking? I don't know... OMG!!!! >.<!! She's AMAZING!

    5. Well there are some pretty strong magnets out there, even small ones, so it's possible.

    6. Oh! How long is their layaway plan for her? I asked Soom but haven't got a response yet. Thank you ^^

I think the wig is a good idea because you can arrange the braids however you want. It's the prettiest wig I've ever seen anyway and think it's at a normal price.

Soom magnets are INCREDIBLY strong. I sometimes have trouble taking them apart even. I think Soom's experienced enough to know how to make the best and securest wing design. I doubt she'll have any problems.

    7. I love everything but the feet. I wish her legs were Sphaler style. That would have been amazing!

    8. Then don't buy the wig. :) You don't have to, right? That's one way around the overall expense too. And it saves you the trouble of having to move the braids around, right? Point is, it's a nice wig, but certainly not irreplaceable. You could find several wigs that are to your liking instead -- and lower maintenance. Or, you might decide what you have to do to set this wig to rights isn't all that bad. I mean, I have the Iplehouse Tokyo Story girls. If you want wigs that need extreme stying those are the dolls. They come with long, loose wigs! But I wouldn't suggest to Iplehouse the doll should be cheaper because I can't style a wig. I'd certainly not pass up a doll I adored because of it. I'd just pass up the wig!

    9. Ah, okay, what have I DONE?

She makes such a pretty goth... now I have to rethink getting her!

    10. Wow Kittyfields, I was actually trying to imagine her with darker makeup and your photoshop job did the trick. Oh my...am I actually Soomed? I haven't been since Cuprit. Oh what a strange and wonderful feeling...

    11. Kitty, I bet you could get some dark rose and purples in there too, go romantigoth. :)

    12. I agree! But perhaps Soom was worried about the people who
complain about recycled fantasy parts. IMO they look like smaller
      versions of Monzo's feet...not very dragon-like. But she's really
pretty....maybe one day I can find her head.

    13. The first picture in the "how to style wig" picture IS showing you what you're getting, so I don't see why people are complaining about having to style it. All they did was loop a braid around the back of her head -- it's easy to do, and not necessary either as it looks fine without it wrapped around. I don't see how the wig is difficult? The price is reasonable considering it is coming braided in multiple places, not just plain and un-combed/styled. It would take longer to make.

I think she's very beautiful, I love her face sculpt. She reminds me of a mix between Breccia/Amber! Her overall look is very appealing as well.

    14. You know, I'm not as familiar with Breccia as I was with Amber and Topaz. I remember fleeing the area because she was so beautiful though! I could see how this doll would have a lot in common with her. But what's up with those eyes? I don't think we've seen a Soom with eyes like those yet, have we? (I've been away a bit though!) I think those eyes are amazing, personally! Strangely enough, I think they really lend themselves to the smoky look that Kittyfields is hinting at for her!

    15. I dont see what the fuss about the wig is either. It looks like just a matter of looping one braid around her head and tying it with the other two in a sort of 'ponytail'. There are more complicated styles than this.

In fact, now that I see how the style's done, I'm tempted to go try it on one of my long-haired girls. Looks easy enough.

    16. Oh dear. That face of hers is gorgeous! Fortunately, I definitely do not want another girl doll, especially not such a huge one. UNfortunately, I think her head would make a pretty, pretty boy.

Though I am also confused about the hand parts included. It only says "long nail" hand parts are included, and I see those shown on the human version. But those spidery long fingers shown on her with the other fantasy parts sure as heck don't look like the human long nail hand parts (and I used to own a Cuprit with long nail hands, plus there is a Heliot in the house with those type of spidery fantasy fingers). :?

    17. wow she's so stunning! I love love love the feet. They seem like a Wyvern's claw to me, very elegant for a female dragon of her stylings~ c:
If I were into SD sized dolls, I'd grab her without question! Too bad they're way too big for me xD

Most western styled Wyverns/Wyrms have feet drawn like that in portraits and drawings ^^

    18. I really really adore her, I am considering getting her as a sister for my Galena, Tsura. I love her feet, they're not as miserably large and awkward as I was worried they'd be. Hmm hmm hmm. But I SWORE no more Soom impulse buys...

    19. For those who are concerned about which hands are included with Nephelin, I just received a note from Soom:

Edit: She also DOES NOT have pierced ears, which Soom's page for her just recently revealed.

    20. She is beautiful and come just right in my birthmonth .
Err..sorry if I missed it, is she a dragon or something? >.<
      Her face is gorgeous. :D
