    1. Wow, surreality, your thoughts on her are so interesting! I have to agree with you about the wings. Somehow the shape of them doesn't look... natural to me. I really hope you can swing getting her! I'd love to see what you do with her.

      As for me, if I do end up getting her, it'll be blank with outfit and eyes (I normally don't like the MD eyes, but these ones are amazing). I have no idea what Soom was thinking with the boots, but they totally deviate from their usual fantasy style! It's like they walked out of a Western or something...

      Anyway, as much as I love the fantasy parts blushing, I'm not so fond of the pinky blushing on top of my lovely CW resin. If it were blue/pink like the fantasy part blushing I'd be all over it. Anyway, I don't know if I would end up using the wings anyway, so the blushing would overall be a waste to me.

      Ever since I played Blood of Bahamut (a Square-Enix game for the NDS), I've been in love with their version of Shiva. She's a gigantic colossus of a woman with a fan, a piercing stare, blue skin, and purple/blue battle armour. She also has this amazing head dress, though the head jewellery from Nephelin's outfit could approximate that.

      So what I would love to do with my Nephelin is blush her purpley-blue all over (I would dye her if she weren't so valuable and limited). Then I'd love to commission someone to do some armour for her, and even have her wear her Nephelin outfit on top of it (one gimmick of the game she's in is that hitting the colossi such as her causes parts of them to fall off, which usually amount to clothing and armour... and no, nothing indecent ever falls off XD). Her faceup would be in shades of black, blue, and purple. Of course, she would be a much more moody Shiva than the one from Blood of Bahamut, but I don't mind a pouty Shiva. :)

    2. I just joined the waiting room for this girl---there is just something haunting about her face that really gets me. I passed on Cuprit and grey Galena when they were first released, and kicked myself over it. I was lucky enough to get both of these girls--one from the secondary market, and one from a friend who was not feeling the love for Cuprit.

      Just have a strong feeling that if I did not get this one---she would be added to my long list of doll regrets.

      I really think that Nephelin will look quite fabulous next to my grey Monzo (Samael). I was really hoping that SOOM would make a girl with resin wings of some sort:)

      Sometimes it really does feel like SOOM puts everything on MD's but the kitchen sink, but that is also what is so great about them. These dolls really speak to those of us who like to customize, and I get the biggest kick out of seeing what everyone does with them.

    3. I did some comparisons and it looks like her face is very similar to Ivory's! :o The nose and maybe the chin are a bit different, but over all they look very similar.

      This is a shout of despair(and I know it is senseless but it is always wourth a try):
      If anyone has to much money and don't know what to do with it - share it with me :D.
      I need 1120$ for the version I want to buy but have I only $300 till now.

    14. Aaaah... Pictures, I can't help it. I thought the first half-dozen pics sort of made her face squat, but then the closeups started, and it's just pure torture! I think she's so lovely and elegant, if a little pensive in many of the shots, she's a true classic Soom for sure.

    19. Ordered mine and payed the first layaway fee. And I thought that Galena and Appini would be my only two Soom dolls. And that Galena would be my first and last SD. But it seems that having one doll of a certain height immediately requires the presence of another >_< Plain crazy, really. *is this called being Soomed, being partially soomed, or merely getting soomed? Do I have time to run away to a country where no Internet connection nor BJD owners are present?*

      I love the girl's elegant looks and the overall feel around her. The outfit is just gorgeous - but I had to pass on it (I'm sure I will regret it soon, but that's life...). I bought the eyes though - I hate it when a doll doesn't have eyes / wigs to put on when she arrives.

She is perfect for a character I want a doll of and I have so many wonderful ideas of things to do with her! Hopefully I'll be able to find one some time!
