Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Oh my. He is a petite little critter, isn't he? I still love the sculpt, but have to agree -- I would have done the little gem on this size of a horsey body, since I've always pictured centaurs being enormous.

    2. Ahhhhh he's so tiny and cute! :D

      He really will be almost ridiculously small compared to everyone else I have, but I still think it's great. I'll actually be able to carry him without killing my arms, yay! :XD: Luckily I really don't have a need for him to be in scale with anyone else...

    3. I agree in a way. I think the SG upper body is fine, its the Unikenta(horse) body that's not to scale. If you google people riding horses and look at the scale of someone riding a horse, the horse's body is much bigger...

      He's going to be so tiny! He's going to be so small compared to all of my anthro SOOM MDs! But I think that's going to make him all the more adorable.

    4. I have to say I was kind of upset after seeing him being so tiny. And I got a stupid idea of getting another human Epidos (with outfit and wigs) so that I can put the Unikenta head on the human body. I wondered sooooo much about them being twins. I'm so disillusioned.

    9. Wow. I never expected him to be so small. It doesn't really matter since I want him as a human, but he's really a centaur for tinies! They should have made him the Small Positive.

      Thanks, as always, for the pictures midnitestar7! He has such a noble, almost sad face. He is probably depressed about being so short next to the big guys. Monzo could crush him.

      He looks SO CUTE with the little ones, and great against Mixi, but kind of bizarre against the normal Super Gems!

      I saw his human head too and it was equally beautiful!
      The faceup is STUNNING!

    11. Wow! So that is why Soom wouldn't take pictures of him next to another SG. With an SG-sized head and torso but with such a teeny-tiny horsey body, he just looks deformed. OK. Having to seriously rethink my plan to buy him. He will look daft next to my Big Boys. Such a shame.

I agree with the love, I have a load of different sizes in the house, so having him not be the exact same height as every SG doll ever is just as well, my characters are all different heights as well, and somehow I've never personally pictured centaurs being quite that towering, so if the split I'm in goes well, I should be quite happy with him! ^ ^

    16. I picture centaurs to be huge beasties, definitely taller than the average men (basically, horse sized, with the additional height of a human torso etc). Since most of my dolls are 65cm, that's basically my "average", so him being so tiny would just look sort of ridiculous :( I'm really sad about it, because I was close to convincing myself I needed him... Oh well, maybe just a split for the head...

    17. the height is a little sad to see :/ but i'm fine with it, he will work well with alot of my dolls, and i'm already worried about how heavy he will be at this size! let alone if he was bigger! they list shipping weight at like 7kg... so even if thats partly packaging this boy will be heavy! and as i like to take dolls to meets alot...

      i guess this isnt a doll for everyone and that's just how it is. soom releases dolls that are made by artists with their own aesthetics, so it wont fit everyone's idea of perfect :P

I personally love the size. ^^ I was scared he'd be so big I wouldn't be able to carry him anywhere comfortably, but now I'm much happier because he looks small enough to carry. :D But if he is heavy that still might be a bit troublesome... I've always pictured centaurs as large creatures too, but the idea of a ponytaur is just too alluring. XD

    19. Are they planning some sort of special carrier for the centaurs? I just can't imagine how they are going to ship them safely let alone allow someone to cart one around for meet-ups. *_*
      I would suppose that given the current feedback, they'll probably attempt the Monzo equivalent in centauroid form. The Soom artists are generally pretty responsive once they've solved an engineering problem.

      Wow, he is a short little guy, isn't he. xD Kinda cute, but if they wanted to do a centaur that height, WHY didn't they just do a Gem instead of a Super Gem? :? That height would not be odd for a Gem, really, but compared to Super Gem height it looks so small.

      I do understand why they wouldn't want to make such a giant horsey body though, even as it is it will be interesting to see how they pack them. :lol:
