Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. No way. SOOM joints are NOT like that. You kidding? That posability is crazy! Ed can't even touch his own face without me holding him arm there, let alone put his fingertips together behind his back. Heck, alot of real people can't do that! And those hip joints! He can STAND with his weight on ONE FOOT. Lopsided! Natural! At this point I'd be in love with him if his face were drawn on an egg with a sharpie. That much posing POWAH is too good for me to resist.

      Still want a final height number, though, it's driving me crazy. If he's TOO tall, even mad posing skillzzz isn't going to put him on my buy list.

      Holy incredible posing-and-locking system! Whoooo. Now, THAT is a joint system that you can't rip off & disguise as your own work. His face is kinda cute too, but it's nothing compared to just the knee & hip sockets. And don't get me started on the elbows. Boo-ya.

      80cm is ridiculous-- 70cm is already way out of proportion, but this guy's lankiness is over the top. Makes him look like he just stepped out of Nightmare Before Christmas... He needs a broader base to be such a tall tower (so to speak). But I'd like to have the headless body just to keep around naked, for play posing. :D Still, no way I'm into buying that many different sizes of clothes, or wait for someone to start making shoes that'll fit this guy.

      Yes, please, tell us how tall he is, so that Idrisfynn can bring him home and I can come over to play with him. :aheartbea

    10. So, with the hip pegs, you'd have to pull out the leg slightly to move him from one position to another?

      I just can't get over how skinny the forearms and calves are. Ideally, with the muscle definition they did, the upper arms could have been a little "meatier", but you can disguise that with clothing. But his forearms and lower legs look a tad atrophied. The face, however, looks interesting in the full body shot.

      The feet look kinda small, and like they were built for stability only. They're not as realistic as some other dolls' feet.

    11. Heh. I'll keep defending his skinny-ness, as his figure, amusingly enough, looks just like pictures of my granddad when he was young. He was 6'2" and 125lbs, and he was perfectly healthy. :D Now he has a beer belly, but hey, it has been 50 years. :P

      I'll hold my judgment on the feet until I see them at a better angle. The 3/4 angle can fool the eye. ^_^

      I do wish his arms were a tick thicker, but hey. :P One can't have everything. :)

    18. I totally agree with you. He looks marvelous in clothing but without it he looks like he has been ravaged by not eating properly or something of the like.
