Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     2. I don't own any Mega Gems, but I am very curious to see where Soom is going with their Wizard of Oz dolls.
      First they had Dorothy, the valkyrie girl in pink.
      Now they have Aslan the lion.
      I realize there was a lion in Wizard of Oz, but the name Aslan makes me think of Narnia...

    6. Ah Aslan is so handsome. The tawny looks great! Temptation is real. How is the situation with SOOM right now? I heard they were having issues lately. What sort of issues are they?
      Is it safe to order from them? Any advice is super appreciated. Thanks.

    7. There was a lot of drama about two months ago. Soom tightened the layaway handling and there were some issues with late deliveries. But everythings seems to have quieted down. Their don't seem to be a lot of angry messages on the Q&A board, so I think they are OK. I am thinking about getting Aslan also!

    10. So Soom is planning a Mega Gem & Idealian Free Choice Event soon.
      But is it just me or is it impossible to order dolls in already released colors at all? :|
      This arrangement is new, isn't it? I already asked them on their Q&A board to reconsider this, maybe if enough people do they same they will? But it's highly unlikely.

      Man, this is such a letdown...I was ready to order two MGs in grey just to get my hands on a Captain Hook, but seems like Soom does not want my money this time.

    11. It is not a new policy and it is not likely to change. You can not order a Hook on a Megagem body in grey, but you can order a Hook on an Idealian body in grey and an Idealian head on a Megagem body in grey.

    12. Oh you're so right, the longer I look at this chart the clearer it gets. :doh
      I'm aware how past FCEs went down and was utterly taken aback by and unable to comprehend the new format of this chart (and the missing warnings to not recreate and existing doll), which at second glance seems pretty self-explanatory. Thought the grey Hook bodies (and tawny/cream white for that matter) with any MG head was a no-go.

      Well, I guess brooding and ranting is over now and my Christmas funds will directly go to Soom. Hoping for a for a Gluino/Hyperon split though. Grail doll, here I come! :XD:

    17. Woah, I'm so confused. I actually really wanted a Captain Hook in grey too. Are they not offering that? There is a little "x" in the Captain Hook + Mega Gem Grey box in that chart at the top.... doesn't that mean that it is available in grey?

      Is the chart the inverse of what it looks like? I didn't realize that mega gem and idealian 72 were compatible actually

    19. Oh no, now I have to buy two dolls!! Haha, ohhhh I'm so far over my doll budget already! The tragic thing is though, I could do a split, but my greedy shoulder devil is telling me I could just keep both, it would be a great excuse :P
