well, some barbie shoes are more rubbery than plasticky. anyway, my uyoo wears none of those. i rather she wear those boots made form fabrics and such, like suede boots.
Doh, my English has its limits. *lost* Barbie shoes are too small for Mini Gem. I have tried some pairs but it's like in Cinderella, I should have cut her toe to make the shoe fit. For the moment, all shoes I have tried have to be wore with socks (Azone or Mimiwoo's 'converse-like' for Pullip). I'm waiting for a pair of Volks boots. Pudding House's shoes fit too [Edit] (those which are $15 & up, hand made & not the plastic ones)
Well I figured I'd add onto my own thread. ^_~ The WTG skirt I bought actually doesn't fit, Aren's butt is too big. The shirt is fine though. I also have a hodded dress and she can't have the hood on her head because then the dress floats above her shoulders. ^^; The armwarmers fit fine. Does anyone know if the WTG shoes fit? Adia really needs something other then her black loafers. Anyway, since I haven't had time for any sort of photoshoot I figured I'd at least post a pic of her in this thread. This was taken late at night but meh. As you can see I repainted her (lips are default, although I added some shiney gloss) and she is wearing the WTG shirt and armwarmers. ^_^ Wig by tinybear (her default didn't stay on at all). And now I'm wishing I could afford buying a $100 doll just to strip her. ^_^;;

That's good to know. *rearranges her wishlist* I'm waiting for a pair of boots, I hope they'll come before I move so I will say if they fit. If I have moved, they'll have to wait until I come back, in December. lol same here! Your Aren is so cute, I like the thnig on her lip, she look very Marylin Monroe-like.
Thank you Lunafelis and Arysuh. Arysuh - Yes, it bums me out because WTG has so many cute pants and skirts. Although, I added all the items I want from them to my cart and with no pants/skirts and some of the items out of stock the total was over $200 .

I just wanted to say I'm glad someone started this thread. I fell in love with the Mini Gem dolls and will most likely be getting one next year, but now I can go ahead and start buying her clothes.
If you you have any WTG clothes that don't fit and might be willing to sell one or two I have a ToYou that I am trying to find clothes for. I shy away from ordering WTG cause of cost for a "might fit". ALso I love your Aren, I still want to get one of her someday....
Where do you find the socks that fit her? I found boots that fit great, but the shoes are too loose and need some socks. TIA, Amanda
I dicovered these Mini T-shirts by Jolee's at my local craft store. I think they have em at Joann's and Michael's too. They look like they could fit a mini gem but I don't have one to try them on. I have a few dresses I picked up on Ebay, and they are of very fine quality. They also have a nice vintage flavor to them.
I thought LKK was too small? Oh, and you can sometimes find the Barbie repro outfits sold separately on eBay. - Liz.
