Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Just wanted to bump this thread up in case there are any updates. My mom and I ordered Garam and Aren, and are now searching like crazy to find clothes, wigs and shoes for them before they arrive! :D

    4. i'm totally hooked on getting a minigem now, (the sadistic cow won't leave me alone -_-; ) and i was thrilled to come across this thread :D I knew barbie clothes would work, but this thread has helped me to know which ones will be best suited for her! yay XD

    6. My Soom Uyoo (Elf, Glory of Love) wears most Liv fashions very well, too. The wigs are naturally to large for her, but sometimes even the SHOES fit, which is delightful. I have been too chicken to put boots or high-top sneakers on her, for fear of her foot being caught inside, but all of the smaller shoes (like the basic tennis shoes) fit well and look cute.

      Edit: Oh, AND I found that the Takara clothes fit perfectly, as do the SHOES!! Once again, I'm a bit too chicken to put the boots on my Uyoo, but I have the cutest pair of loafers with knee socks that are adorable on her.

    9. My Aren and Uyoo both wear 3-4 wigs. There's a bit of construction variation at that size, though, and some of the straight-hair wigs with bangs might be a little heavy to stay on without help.

    11. Take her feet off. Seriously, it works. I filled in the feet of a pair of boots with hot glue for weight, and I just pop off her feet and put them in her backpack. Push her legs in and there you go! I wish I could do that sometimes... >_>

    12. Just wondering if there's any new american dolls on the market, other than those listed on the first page, whose clothing and shoes and accessories will fit Mini gems. I see this thread has been dead for almost half a year so just wondering if people are still updating that list :). I just ordered a Soom Mini Gem Aren yesterday, and a whole bunch of Monique size 4 wigs today. Luckily, I have a wholesaler account there, so whatever I don't like I can stick on ebay and make some profit (I hope lol) to buy more dolly stuff.

    13. Yay for you! Try some of the Monster High stuff, their waists are so tiny I think they might fit nicely. I have a Monster High doll here, but Lylah is in a different state so I can't check, but places like Big Lots have just the outfits for pretty cheap.

    15. I asked the same question recently :) Planetdoll has barbie sized minis but their website does not have pics of most of the molds. So does bobobie, I would have gotten isabella probably myself, except at junky spot they only had blue skin in stock. Also I am not 100% sure, but dollzone released a new line of minis that look VERY slender. I think they could maybe fit in some stuff but have not read their measurements. I found the best way for me to research was to take the soom mini gem size info off the Q and A section of soom's site and compare that to all the other dolls I was interested in. Also Limwha has 2 mini girls, sara and mari. they're a lil bit smaller than barbie so some stuff might need hemmed or taken in a bit, unless you like the slightly oversized look. I had a really tough time deciding between mari or aren in the end. and it only came down to for me, that the soom mini gems would fit the barbie clothes better without alterations.

      Also in other news - I bought a stardoll today - their outfits are cute and less "barbie" looking but they look like they have similar sized/shaped bodies. Wish I had checked in here first, about the monster high dolls :) I saw a realllly cute one today haha. I also splurged a little and bought the ken mini coop lol. It is so cute. I can't wait for my Aren to get here. still in preparing stage (although i havent checked in about 3 days now lol.)

      Technically the MG, etc., are all "tinies", not "minis" -- A slip of the size terminology while shopping could cause problems!

    20. I don't know if this will help anyone but my Uyoo is currently wearing the shoes from a mini American Girl Doll Kaya. Only Hearts Club shoes fit, but clothes are mostly to small. A lot of the slightly older Barbie stuff is too big in the bust.
