Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       (Even though all I thought of when I saw the claw were the parasites from Cloverfield. Forgive me!)

    3. My initial reaction was "AGH AWESOMEEEE" then I realized I have no need for a crab person. XD I'm safe.

      My second reaction was, "Omg Spinel". If he had fuller lips I'd be dead, though. And that armor... I want. But not for $300.

    4. Well, I like him, love the outfit, but claws don't do anything for me fortunately. I also don't want to spend $300 on an outfit, no matter how nice it is. Phew. I guess I can breathe easily for another month.

    5. Oooh! More gorgeous than I thought he would be. Is that really a Spinel head? It looks more lantern-jawed and I LURVE that slight overbite. If he were a straightforward Super Gem, I would be tempted. As it is, I have no use for a power arm. Hey ho. Safe for the minute.

    6. I...am not so safe. This guy fits one of my characters perfectly...with the exception of the crab claw. ^^; If I buy him, I'd probably sell off the 'power arm'.

      Still, he's pretty pricey, and though he calls to me, I'm not jumping for joy over him. I'll give it some time to see if he grows on me.

    9. I fear that Soom is the 'master of my fate' To use the new catchphrase, "I am Soomed!!"
      I didn't expect the Crab to grab me the way that he has. Here's why.
      I am not a fan of eye make-up on male dolls.
      I am not really interested in leather garb (armor-- for want of a better word) because I'd really use a 3-piece suit more!
      I never thought of saying "Gee, I'd really like one of my dollies to have a big ole hand like a crab." ... Just a phrase I didn't expect to utter.
      Well, those absolutes went out the window with my first cup of coffee this morning.
      I think this is one of the most stunning dolls I've ever seen. The detail on the outfit is absolutely amazing. It is so well thought out, and so wonderfully constructed. I really think it is a masterpiece of costume design.
      I think the doll himself is so-oo-o handsome. And he does not look feminine at all ... even with eyeliner! He's just a hunk.
      The claw!! Well, I am Cancer (his birthday is one day after mine! Thank goodness it was not one day earlier or I would have been "soomed"!), but that would not make me think I needed a crab claw!!! I love this. It even opens and closes which amuses me no end.:roll:

      The photographs for Bix are just wonderful. I keep looking at them and saying that this could be a promo shot for a feature film its so good.

      As you can tell, I am impressed. Will I grab the Crab?
      The one thing that may save me is that he looks a bit young for my Bijou (aka Dia, Rose Queen) .... unless she needs a bodyguard.:aheartbea

    10. I agree...he's just awesome (I can't think of a better word)! I know the outfit is expensive, but it looks incredibly complex. I have been sewing for many years, and I shudder at trying to make something like that. Their whole concept just came together beautifully. If I didn't already have a Soom layaway, I might make an exception to my "no boys" rule. He's just AWESOME!

    12. Tragically, I have no room for him in my family right now (literally, no room! :D) and the monies must now be turned towards making the most of the annual Japan week. Besides I am still waiting for Mr Goat Feet! :D However, I think he's a beauty, a real beauty. :aheartbea And I love his outfit too.

    15. I wish they had some better (non-shadowed etc) pics of his face. He seems happy for such a crabby guy :)

      So, I take it he comes with both the crabby arms and a set of normal arms? I might be tempted then because I *think* I like his face a lot but it's hard to tell from these photos. Seems like his lips are less 'full'. I'm not a fan of puffy lips :)

Well, I think the incubus/satyr...the human with hooves and horns is such an iconic image that Sard and Beryl were inevitably going to catch an amazing amount of attention with their specialness. To be honest, I would bring Bix home if I could (and one of those cute zombie Louis!). But I can't spend the money right now, so I am just not thinking about any dolls in that way. I'll just enjoy him as a piece of art and look for the owner pics. :D

    17. I am confused... wasn't Vega a Mecha Angel? Also, if you don't want the claws but want everything else, I'd really suggest getting the doll and selling the claws later. There are a whole bunch of WTB threads in the Marketplace for Beryl/Sard legs and horns. I think you wouldn't have a problem selling off those claws.

      Hee hee... I was part of the Beryl-mania, but not Sard-mania. If Bix were female, I'd probably be hyperventilating and trying to scrape together all my funds. I really love the claw and that outfit is just LOVE, but boy dolls rarely scream "buy me!" as loudly as the girl dolls. Also, I'm kind of neutral on his face sculpt. So I don't think I'll be getting him either, though I'll much enjoy ogling owner pics of him!

    19. I don't think he's a Spinel as the lips aren't full enough. I think he's Lazule unless he's a new sculpt and we know Soom is quite capable of doing that. He's a fascinating doll although I think I'm safe since I don't like him as well as Lupin.

    20. FACE...MASK!!!! That's sooo hot!! I lvoe his outfit. I..... waaaaaant!!!! The claw is amazing!! And it's jointed!!!

      Must.....Resist..... If Cancer has this kind of pull on me, I am so inescapably screwed when they come out with a Saggitarius if it's a boy (which it better be!)
