    1. I am so in the same boat with you there. Having a doll addiction and being unemployed is not a good combination. Not at all. Especially when MD frenzy is factored into the mix. Need new job nao!

      True. And I really shouldn't be in such a rush to buy her since it will take her 6-7 months to ship anyway. If I were smarter, I'd just forget about her for a few days.

      But I want to be in that first shipping batch, dang it! ;)

    2. Yes, being unemplyed sucks big time! It's even worse when I know that I don't really have the money yet want to get more dolls.

      Cass is a definiate for me. I'd never ever be able to fully pay for her straight away. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be in the first wave because there may be a slim (i stress the slim) chance that she'll ship for December, which is when my birthday is. She is going to be my birthday AND christmas pressie :)

      But I'll settle for waiting patiently until whenever the last lot ship

      If I will be able to get the head only, for this time I am actually glad that it will take so long before it will get shipped. Actually I didn't want to buy any more dolls for a couple of months to concentrate on my current ones. Some still need clothes and face-ups and such. So now I can get a lovely head and still concentrate on my current dolls. :)

      I really like the soft look of hers. I am also very interested in het outfit, although I don't want it. What would a mermaid girl wear under sea? :lol:

    4. I am completely in love with what I can see of her dress and necklace. I just hope it is (sort of) worth the ridiculous price Soom will inevitably charge for it. I don't know how they justify $150+ for Heliot's scarf outfit, Cuprit's skimpy thing, Chrom's barely-there getup and, well, pretty much every MD outfit ever. Seems like the more recent ones are offering less and less bang for the buck, and shoes are STILL separate. I especially don't see how they can get away with charging that much for Chrom's clothes, or Eliv and Iv's. There is nothing there!

      Please, Soom, please let her have a full-length elegant dress like the ones you gave Onyx instead of some little skimpy thing. Please?

    5. I hope her dress is lovely and worth the price because I plan on adding it to my order. I do sometimes worry about the MD outfits, especially after hearing so many people being rather dissapointed with Heliot's clothes. I think I'd cry if I spent $150-$180 on an outfit that is less than fantastic!

    6. I agree that heliots outfit was rather dissapointing, but Ambers outfit was really lovely. Although it was really expensive..

      Actually I am glad that the shoes are seperated. For dolls with hooves, or maybe tails, they don't really need shoes. And I think that if the shoes were included to the outfit, the outfit would be about $200. :/

      I think that Cass would look lovely in a dress with a long skirt. Very wide and soft.

    7. I've figured out that if I actually am going to plunk down money for a MD straight from Soom (as opposed to scouring the Marketplace like I usually do), I want to have the fullset. So, yeah, I'm hoping my $1200 bucks or so is well-spent too.

      The only thing I may forgo is the body blushing. I have it on my Glati and am paranoid as hell that I am going to fade it or chip it or do something I don't worry about nearly as much on my other blushed dolls. And if she has bendy, resin tail parts, that's only going to make me way more paranoid. I don't want a doll I'm afraid to touch. But the wig, the eyes, the clothes, those will all be coming home with me. Even if I am tired of seeing blonde, female MDs. I just realized that every big girl since Vesuvia has been blonde. That's quite a streak. Come on, Soom, give the redheads and dark-haired girls some love, too!

    8. I'm thinking of getting the fullset too, minus the blushing. From what was mentioned before, if you choose the blushing the tail/fin thingy comes in blue ... but I can't see myself keeping that ... so I can maybe split that off and save a bit of cash.

      I think It'll have to have the shoes too ... I'm terrible with shoes because my SD girl has only just gotten her 1st pair 7 months later :sweat

      Edit: Maybe the people at SOOM have a blonde fetish LOL

    9. I think what made up the main part of the price for Heliot was the wings. The wings were part of the outfit. I was a little baffled by the scarf-wrap, too, otherwise. I seriously regret not grabbing Amber's outfit when I had the chance (though apparently I'm on a waitlist for it). It should be interesting to see what her ensemble looks like over all, since I like what I see thus far.

    10. I am really worried Cass' outfit is going to be like Topaz's dress and be like $198. *_* Please Soom don't! Amber's outfit was really pretty and I ended up buying that at $160, but anything higher makes me think twice. And so far I too am liking what I see with Cass' outfit. XD

      As for Heliot's outfit I rather like it, but yeah the wings should have been an option like Glati's wings, thus making the outfit less expensive. Though guess a split would help with that, I just can't help but wonder why Soom didn't make it an option.

Or maybe a mermaid outfit -- we still don't know if Soom meant she'd have a full resin mermaid tail or if she would have some other sort of mermaid tail costume/adaptation. *_*

    13. I'm keeping track of Cass in the hope that my mother will be Soomed by her - she loves the idea of a mermaid doll, and while I prefer dragons, I do think Cass is lovely to behold. ^^

      Anyway, someone asked about people having Cass-related dreams. Having given up at 11:00pm last night and honestly expecting to see her when I woke up this morning, I had a dream of my own. She was released, and the first thing I did was to scroll down to see how her tail had been done - resin or outfit or what. But she didn't seem to have a tail at all, because she was wearing little black ankle boots with red and green bands, and read leather trousers with black swirls on them. I think the implication was that she was actually pirate-themed. :lol:

      A pirate outfit is unlikely, but I do think some sort of wrap-skirt might be possible, and appropriate as that is beach attire!

      *makes herself comfortable at her computer for the continuing wait*

    16. I don't think I will get the outfit, no matter how pretty it would be. I think I have a different stylization in mind for her and Soom MD outfits seem too expensive for me... Amber's dress was pretty but still just a skimpy dress, no shoes. But I understand how unique those outfits are.

      And the chased by goldfish crackers, Swifteh that's too great! Lol! And this is a little off topic, but after seeing them in my dream I think we should suggest EID mermen to Iplehouse. >.> *cough*

      Has anyone figured out if Cass' eyes are black or just a very dark color? I thought I saw purple in the second pic, but not sure. I think green eyes would look very nice on her, the bright vibrant sort of color. ^^

    18. And that's become the problem in my house too. So, I got a Euclase, and the blushing, OMG, it's so amazing. But I don't want to play with him or dress him up, anything with him freaks me out.

      And then Heliot finally came, and it's the same thing. :( But! I got a second Heliot body on the Marketplace that wasn't painted, for the R. head. :o And I play with him, he's so fun and wonderful, that I pretty much regret the blushing on Amber now, because I know she'll have that 'look don't touch' feel to her. Really, I love fullset, but I may never do body blushing again.

      Actually, I just happened to luck out and pick up a Topaz off the Soom site someone has had on layaway all this time (seriously!), and I didn't do body blushing on her, although of course, her fairy parts, beh. But still, I think I'll get along with her really well without the blushing. But that's just one person's experience too. ;)

    19. I think that in the second pic her eyeliner looks purple also-- it's the light perhaps? Her eyes seems black to me... Would love to see more pictures of them. Blank eyes of other MDs weren't for me ^^
