Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       Just when I think that Soom won't release a full mermaid doll because of their little mers last month, they release THIS...if she's got a single, full fin, I might have to make a very very hard decision between her and the DoA Limited from Luts...O_O.

    3. Wow I just felt that feeling I've seen many of you feel every month when a new Soom MD comes out..

      I AM NOT SOOMED.:lol::lol::lol:

      .. and I cannot tell you how happy that makes me!:fangirl:

      I knew I just COULDN'T say yes to her in a million years.. I'd have to pass on her.
      And if I loved her, that would have been SO PAINFUL.:...(

      My first look at her was just.. "huh.":sweat
      Now I've looked at her more, I can see her beauty (anyone else think she looks like Amber slightly?) but there's just no spark there for me.
      Usually if I don't start bouncing up and down and screaming when new MD pictures come out, that means I'm pretty safe!:)

      HOWEVER.. if she's Super Gem sized I may be tempted by parts!
      The ears and the arm are amazing, and I wish I could get the parts to switch over with my Cuprit from time to time but alas, I don't think there's anyway those ears will fit over Cuprit's elf ears!
      So maybe just the arms and potential adorable legs?:)
      We shall see when more pictures come out! If she's MA sized though, nothing will fit my girl so I'll pass completely!

    4. I see they already posted an additional picture, showing something that looks like a "fish arm" with fins and scales. I think she's very pretty, she reminds me a bit of the Supia girls. She looks like a Super Gem, but the name Cass
      could come from Cassiterite (Super Gem), og Cassiopeia (Mecha Angel). :sweat But I am pretty sure they will stick to Super Gem size for the monthlies, haven't seen MA since Vega. And I'm pretty sure those ears are detachable.

    5. OK SO! I decided, for now, that I'm getting her. She's just so extremely perfect. The Glot can wait, I want this doll! I just hope Soom isn't gonna screw things up with shipping like they did with Ambers and Heliots. Maybe I'll have her for Christmas, if I don't get her on layaway? >.>

    7. >.< I knew this was going to happen. I was trying to hold out as long as possible to put Ipplehouse Jessica on layaway, because I really wanted to see the teaser pics for Cass.

      I didn't fall hard for her face, but somehow I don't know if that's going to stop me much xD

      *might have to jump in a split or two* I know I'm going to want bits and pieces of her.

    8. I think they probably photoshopped in the 'element symbol' in her eyes. If you look at some of the photos of Chrom, you can see a little glowing triangle in brighter red in his eye that I don't think is in the actual eye, but is a thing they did for some of the fancy teasers like these that are more to generate interest than to really show what the doll looks like.

      ...though faceted eyes would be intensely cool. Hm. I wonder if there's a way to do that with large enough rhinestones or beads...

    9. I think this might be my first Soom doll :) I've been enjoying all the monthlies for some time and waiting for tiny (YO-size) birds, but she is gorgeous. I love her face :) and I'd love to paint her darker and make her a siren, I'm so curious to see what the legs will be like! The scales on the arms look beautiful!

    10. All this talk about faceted eyes makes me think of that inserted diamond eyes Barbie I had as a child. :lol: Tbh I'd love to see this girl with bright eyes and a dark, or maybe even a bluegreen wig.

    11. Oh wow, I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures... Probably on Monday or Tuesday! Soom is just amazing :) I think the eyes might be glittery, like Eliv & Iv's, but in purple? And does she have suction cups (like an octopus) on her arms & ears, or am I just imagining things?

      The wig looks beautiful too, but right now seems quite similar to Cuprit's?

      In all honesty, I'm hoping SO BADLY that she's a MA, simply because that'll make me safe from all the parts, clothing.. everything pretty much except the eyes!

    20. I need to see more pictures of her before I can decide whether I'm soomed or not on this one. She does have a special (somewhat a little "renaissance" feel both sculpt and makeup palette) face. I love the fantasy parts I've seen so far though :)
