Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. when does everyone think that the 'sale' pics will go up for cass? tomorrow nite ??? i am finding all the speculation on her (caps lock) most entertaining. i would not try 'sanding her chest down' but, that's me. i think it would be easier just to get other parts that 'work' or to 'mod' the tail part to a different male chest part.

    6. I agree completely. Not since I first saw Ryung, has a doll so immediately and completely grabbed me.

      I keep going back to the Soom site and looking at her. She gets better every time. She's beautiful. I don't think I'm going to be able to resist this one...

    7. With a few of the previous monthlies, they've put up teasers at the end of the week, then the doll usually goes on sale either Monday morning or Tuesday morning in Korea. (Which is Sunday evening or Monday evening here).

    8. ^^; I'm trying very hard to tell myself "No!" as I am still recovering from the giant hole in my pocket that Soom made when I put my Chrom on layaway. -_- But her face..it's killer. Soom's face's on these MDs lately have been too much for me to deny..ugh. Still, I'm hoping for those ears to be removable..or something, I'm not sure about them. Waiting for more pictures and hoping to hate her..though I do want a SD girl..

      She does indeed have a Art Nouveau feel about her; she makes me think also about some some painting from the Symbolist and Pre-raphaelite period.

      I guess she will have two legs with scaly calves and fins instead of feet, just like her two diminutive minions.

      That design in itself is also very reminiscent of Art Nouveau, Symbolism, and also Art Deco: some mermaid art from those period show them that way:
      I'm thinking of John William Waterhouse's Siren, Eriksen's most famous Little Mermaid in the harbour of Copenhagen, and as for the Art Deco, the mermaids and sirens on glass of René Lalique (the transparent resin adds to this impression!).

      Anyway, I'm also soomed and doomed. :doh

    12. Ok, I've spent the last few days looking at Cass and the more I see of her the more I can feel my self control slipping. Even her shell ears, which I wasn't too keen on, are looking really exquisic.

      I'm hoping she'll go up for sale on Monday so I can see more pics of her :)

    17. Am I the only one who's leery of the thought of a mermaid tail on a 65cm doll? :sweat I haven't even a guess at what Soom will suprise us with for her lower half, though. I really hope they put up the rest of the pics near the beginning of their Monday workday so we (well, by US time zones) can see the pics tonight before bed! Otherwise, watch me get up at the crack of dawn to check tomorrow. :|

      And I think I figured out what was bugging me about her face in the first pic. It is a really dark picture compared to the second one! So I lightened it and I think I like her much better. *twidles thumbs and waits*

    18. Dolly I don't really like the idea of the tail, I mean, you wouldn't really be able to do much with them I guess.

    19. Quite a few people have mentioned how dark the first picture of her looks and that they were slightly put off by it. I think I'm in the minority who likes the darker picture ... it makes her look rather mysterious and somewhat alluring :lol:. I bet she'd make an excellent siren lol. She has such an intense gaze in the first pic (IMO). Like she's staring right through you...

      It's getting to the point where I'm giving her a name... I think Cass is going to be on my list of dolls I'll cry about if I don't get :lol:

    20. I like the darker picture too. I think the oddness of it is maybe the angle or something cause it makes the area around her mouth appear a bit older than it probably is. Still am in love with her El-like lips.

      The more I look at her the more I think I want her. XD; Tail or no tail she'll at least have human legs for sure. And to me she would make a lovely boy or mother to my El.
