Soom Monthly Doll (March) the Second Land: Cuprit - Black Frost

I love her so much- she's way too big for my starting collection, though. >< I guess I should be thankful for that. >>; If she were gem size, I would be frothing at the mouth. XD

 

While I was also crossing my fingers that she wouldn't have hooves, I also missed out on last year's dolls so I don't mind one bit I'd love to see them do a proper feline doll in July >.> I wasn't impressed with last year's Leo doll

As for the transparent resin... well... I can't really decide yet. I love those hooves (I think) but at the same time I really love the paint job they do on the opaque ones... So I'm a little torn there.

Hopefully SOOM will bring out some really unique dolls in the very near future

Ya. I am actually disappointed that she does have hooves... the bluish transperant resin does look very nice though, I think they might look nicer in person than orange...
She is beautiful, and I really like the pic of her and Glot and Glati clinging to her.. so cute.

.. though I also agree with you too, things that I wasn't able to get last year it seems like there are gonna second chances of some sort, that kinda make me happy. Now... I want Talons! Please? :>

Congrats to all who has bought her, she is absolutely gorgeous. Very Diva like, for some reason.

 

She's beautiful, but I'm still not in love. Which is good for my wallet! But now I have to endure, what, 12+ more dolls?! *dies*

I was hoping for some hooves in the same color as her horns cause that would have been farking gorgeous, but the hooves are like soooo badass and the outfit is to die for. I don't normally like girls, but she is just so COOL (no pun intended). XD The only thing I don't like about her is her head. ^^; So not sure I'll be keeping it. Her legs are absolutely gorgeous though, that body looks a little different from other super gem bodies. Maybe I'll stick my Amber or Heliot head on her lol.

Though I understand why she has hooves. Seems people are disapointed, but she is part of the Beryl, Sard and chibi hooved clan so it makes sense she has them too, right? As for the transparent resin I'm not tired of it at all, this is the third time they've used it for major parts right? I think it fits perfectly to what Soom planned for the doll and their story. Ice hooves, just wow talk about creative! Awesome job Soom!

 

Anyone got any idea what the heeled feet are worth? >.> I've been trawling threads in the marketplace and can't seem to work it out and as this is my first SOOM split, I don't honestly know Halp plz?

 

I really like her head and horns but not the rest of her lol ^__^; I'll probably try and put her on a delf body.... So I'll be stalking the spilts on the market place for her head and horns ^^;

 

She's very gorgeous, and I like the transparent hooves... but I do wish Soom would go back to wowing us with wild innovations no other company has done before. Like with Vesuvia; I would love to see a male version with a tail, though I would probably finally be soomed by that one.

I'm still looking forward to seeing her in the gallery! And now to go find me a split for that crown and that cloak.

 

It says "Type: Super Gem Legend Version (68cm)" on her page. So I guess that means her body is different than the normal super gems at 65cm? Her body to me looks different, more slender and taller.

 

In news/notices for Cuprit it says "CUPRIT is a new sculpt Super gem female type." so yep

 

Beryl is 68cm with her hooves on but 65cm with the human legs, I had thought Cuprit was like that, I didn't even think it could be a different body sculpt, I wonder if her outfit would still fit my Beryl.

Its so bizzare with me but I'm rather fond of her body and I'm such a strong male lover (seeing as all my dolls are males lol). Especially her legs they are uber gorgeous.

I guess when you start coming up with names that's it. I want to give her my Heliot's name Anastasius now, the name is really strong when I look at her. Though the more I look at her head the more I dislike it. I guess splitting the head wouldn't be hard, but I'd rather wait to see it in person first. I don't want to end up kicking myself later. XD;

Wow, I just stumbled upon this thread. She us really gorgeous. I wonder if next they will do her male counterpart. I love the clear ice looking hooves. I would love to get her outfit it is amazing. Soom is really an amazing and innovative company of designers.

 

Wow, what a beauty! Makes me glad I managed to resist Amber . . . though I'll have to think on this girl for a bit. I love her pretty face with those fabulous elf ears, and I also love those transparent hooves. I'm just not sure I love them together on the same doll. The head is perfect for my fae queen, but the hooves are perfect for . . . something else, and I definitely don't have plans for TWO Super Gem girls. xD

I agree, Soom sure had done a lot of hooved dolls lately, but if you look at the "Darknesss" element, ALL of them are hooved. Amber and Heliot are in the "Light" and "Earth" elements, and all the dolls in those elements won't be hooved. I think the Darkness element in particular is just all hooved.

 

Not in love with her, but I think the story is awesome and the picture of her snuggling Glot and Glati is PRECIOUS 3

I think she's gorgeous...not very keen on the wig, but she is amazing. Man, I have to decide about her. I'm not sure if I want to pass her up. She is mind blowing.

 

She's neat but I don't like how you can see her stringing through her hooves, I would have also liked if they had tied in the clear resin somewhere else too like her horns or something. Congrats to those who are getting her though what an outfit!

 

I just sold my heeled feet from the Beryl set in the Marketplace for $20, and I had several PMs about them within a day of posting them. So I'd say at least $20, but maybe a bit more?
