      SO disappointed about that one. I could actually cry!!!

      Face wise so far she's perfect and exactly what I was hoping they'd make (though granted I wished they'd have made her LATER and given me more time to save!).
      But super gems are just HUGE... after finally seeing them all in person I really understood just how giant they are. I'm a smaller doll person cause I like sitting them on the headboard of my bed (it;s a ledge xD) and so on. I don't really know what I'd do with a doll that big!

      More than anything though, super gem means a price tag over $1000 is pretty much a given, especially as it seems likely she'll have hooves (based on the fact that all the "darkness" dolls (beryl, glot, sard, glati) have hooves) and they seem to be the most expensive of all last years zodiac dolls!
      Gem I thought I might be able to squeeze the month together but super gem?

      I hope again that her body is really ugly and that she does nothing for me (personally hope she doesn't have hooves.. so maybe if she DOES, I'll be put off xD). Cause otherwise I might just sob! :(

    3. I'm glad she's a super gem girl! If she turns out to be a girl I can't resist, I want her to be able to go with Heliot and Reisner. This makes me even more excited to see the rest of her photos. I like the idea of ram like horns, but I'm even more excited to see what her outfit looks like. I'm kind of hoping for a full length dress, especially since most of the monthly doll outfits have been skimpy (probably to show off their beautiful bodies!)

    4. I wouldn't mind a super gem girl (since I have two super gems already), but the only problem I have is that her guy's mold happens to be 60 cm, and I really don't want her towering over him. XD XD What to do, what to do...

    5. I don't want her to have normal feet either xDDD

      I love hooves, don't get me wrong! Now I've seen them in person, Beryl was by far the best of last years zodiac dolls for me. She won my heart completely and I was suddenly SO depressed I couldn't have her (I always thought Topaz was my favourite, but now she comes in 2nd! xD).
      Of course I also bought Glot (which I'm especially glad for now I know how much Beryl stole my soul).. so yeah, I like hooves! But, I don't really have a need for more than one hooved doll probably?

      Not just that.. I think based on the face and the overall image it gave me, hooves might just ruin her. Little transparent parts, or bird feet.. or even something spider-esque would be amazing. But I suspect they're going back to hooves!!

      Still.. the issue is that, no matter WHAT her feet are.. I don't see how I could afford her even though she's captured my heart more than any of the other soom dolls.
      Actually, out of any doll EVER, she's the strongest first reaction I've ever had!

      I so hoped she'd be no bigger than gem. :...(

      The big super gem girlie could be shaped more like a normal doll in construct just with funky limbs, but then the little teenie helpers could be actual spides with 8 legs!

    13. Aw, darn, she's a Super Gem . . . can't say I'm surprised though. :) I'm still excited to see what nifty fantasy feature(s) she'll have, if any, other than what we see in the promo pic. Those elf ears of hers are just so awesome though. It sounds silly, but one of the main reasons I wound up selling my Topaz was 'cause her stick-on-not-very-securely ears bugged me, which just wouldn't do for my noble fae.

      Hmm, I wonder how well SG girl heads can fit on other female bodies. I foresee many DoA searches in my future. :XD: Though if she's amazing enough neck-down I might be able to make do with the big size.

    14. I KNOW. SO ANGRY.

      If her body is anything like her face though, I might be forced to just find a way. Even though her size is off putting, and even though she's going to be HORRIDLY expensive..
      I guess when you have a reaction to a doll that was a strong as the one I had to her, you really have no other choice!!!!

      Plus, at least I can console myself with the fact that I don't do boy dolls. The NEXT 2nd Land doll at the end of May (assuming they alternate) is bound to be a boy, meaning I'm hopefully safe from the risk of wanting another super gem until the end of July!
      I also already promised myself that if they are making Teenies of all the Zodiac dolls, I was only allowed to buy Beryl and Topaz. Well I ordered Glot, so now it's just Topaz! (though you never know, a perfect baby could come along and I could die! xDD)

      Her picture has been up for one day and already I'm trying to rationalize it!
      PLEASE LET HER BODY BE UGLY!!!!!!!!! xDDDD


      Edit :: Actually, this whole time I've been assuming she was a SHE. PLEASE LET "IT" ACTUALLY BE A BOY AND THEN I AM SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    16. Well honestly I'm bored with super gems. I kind of got excited over smaller tinies, but now they've gone back to super gems. I think I might be passing on her, especially with a bigger price tag. Shame she isn't smaller, but good for my wallet.

      I could be eating my words though once she's released lol.

    18. I could try taking some pics of my Beryl head on a Delf girl body, which has about the same neck circumference as a Gem girl... if that would help?

      The more I look at her face, the more I'm trying to decide if she really would work for the character I'd originally thought... or if I should hold off. I've kind of splurged on dolls recently, including on Glot. :doh So I might have to pass up this one (especially since I was just going to keep the head anyway).

      I wonder if they ever will release any of the MDs as Gem size? It would be nice, since most of my dolls are in that size range. :sweat

    19. I'm sad she's a big girl. I had a vision of a RossetteDoll (owned by Soom) with horns and hooves/hawk legs! LOL! That was probably too far fetched!

      At least I'm safe! At least from the doll... we'll see if I'm going for anoth $150 outfit... or another floating head I'll never get a body for...
