Soom must be making ridiculous amounts of money with all these kick ass dolls they keep coming out with.

 

Oh god - am caving. Badly. Tried to get a friend to talk me out of it, but (un)fortunately, she's a terrible enabler.

Did manage to resist on getting body blushing/ wig and eyes - thats good isn't it??

True. But that rationalization doesn't save me any money of course.

Of course if we were in this hobby to save money, we would have nothing at all.

 

Any hobby where boots cost more than I'd pay for myself is not a hobby to save money in...

"My other doll is so spoiled! He has so much clothes waiting for him. There's no way I'm going to buy clothes for a doll with hooves, casual stuff would look ridiculous on him anyway! I know! I'll buy him these kick ass hands so he doesn't get less attention!"

 

I lost Maki on the Volks lottory so I decided I have some money for this guy. I was hoping I would not like Sards face but Soom keeps making more beautiful men. Now waiting for Vega and Sard. My fishy will have a horsy companion

Oh, man, that's brilliant! I was lamenting that Sard didn't come with a jointed hands option... smart me forgot they're up for sale this week, too. Must resist...

 

I figured that this doll will be relatively cheap for me in the long run. Think about it: how am I going to buy clothes for him? You can't just casually go on ebay or the Marketplace and buy clothes for a doll with goat legs! They'll never fit! And they would look silly anyway! So I assumed that since he wouldn't get much money spent on him, he should get some new hands.

... Wait, what am I saying?! He's already got me spending $800 just to have him, plus whatever wig I get, plus eyes, plus all kinds of other odds and ends I assume!

Oh well. That was my feeble attempt at guilt tripping myself over this. It didn't work.

 

Congratulations Loagaeth. We did it! Whoot! Got up at ridiculous o'clock this morning on the off chance that he had finally gone on sale et, voila! Just bought the doll (blank, no outfit. It did nothing for me) and also the jointed hands. Well, I have been coveting them for ages and, seeing as I'm already spending money I don't have, what's another $150?.

I second that, I might get Dai as a human, because well, even if my boy is an incubus, sorry no hooves for me...just seem odd...i don't main merman naga, but somehow...i never did like hooves...>.> so i'll leave that to the rest of the world....I do like the face up, but different hair and eyes for sure....and oh boy it my bank, calling to hex me!

and next to mr.merman, i like this face, somehow those high cheekbones does nothing more me. So yea, here is another distraction from finishing my nanuri..my hard work, all goes into these lovely. Hey, don't give up on Vega yet! Keep checking and leaving inquiries in the Marketplace, and I'm sure one will come up sometime! Just be patient.

I on the other hand am completely in love with the goat legs and high cheekbones... and basically everything else about this doll.

 

So I asked Soom Kelly if Sard is a Dia head but with pointy ears and the only answer I got is "And Sard is not exactly a Dia head." >__> Ugh if anyone received a straighter answer than that, please do share.

Well at least I know now that I can order a NS Dia head with a NS male super gem body but the catch is a $30 fee. I'm sure I read this somewhere, probably on DoA but its nice to confirm it with soom. Now someone tell me if they've got a better answer to the Sard/Dia similarity question please @_@. If they're the same, I can get a human NS Sard anytime. If they're a bit off, it'll put me off, I'm compulsive like that .

Oh, Soom also told me the horns are attached with magnet, not that nobody knows but just in case.

I asked Soom to make sure and the "blushing" does include the horns and hooves being painted which makes me very happy. XD

 

Somebody did a side by side comparison of Dia's head and Sard's head, and they look almost exactly alike. The lips on Sard don't appear quite as pouty, but I honestly think that is just the face up. The only real difference that I noticed that couldn't be blamed on the complete difference in face up is that Sard's face looks a bit thinner. After really looking at the two for awhile (what else have I had to do while hovering like a vulture waiting for him to be available for sale?), I do think the two look a little different, yet they are so very similar I doubt it even matters much anyway. They're so much alike that I was convinced for hours that it WAS Dia's head.

But, I do find it interesting that Soom told you that you could get Dia's head on a male body for a small additional fee, that is some information I might need for later (I wanted Dia as a guy too ).

Oh me me me, I want that, dia as male, I thought it was a lovely male, but sadly a girl, good info...go to save money now! sard do love the slender face...and those lips...gah to many choices. But yea i'm all but stalking the marketplaced for vega >.>
