I'm excited! My Sard will be anxiously awaiting his sister.

 

for Soom is the delivery time really 7-10 days from completion of payment?

or do we have to wait it out for after a month like Luts does?

 

Not sure about that. I DO know that they posted some kind of bulletin saying that those who ordered Sard earlier on should see him shipping out around the middle to end of June, while other would get theirs middle to end of July.

 

I have a feeling that's still probably somewhat optimistic, but it's certainly possible.

I just was contacted about an out of stock item pre-shipping about items ordered and paid in full on April 15th if that gives you any idea of a time reference, though those were with faceup and body brushing, so it might depend on which options you picked. *grin*

No. I don't think their dolls ship that fast. Maybe they used to, or maybe they might in some rare cases, but I would not get my hopes up- Soom is very busy with all their new releases and limiteds.

 

Before the release of Beryl, my Spinel only took 2 weeks o__O

 

Delivery by EMS is 2-5 days, I think. It's pretty quick!

Delivery does not include manufacturing time and this can take months. Manufacturing time is what accounts for the long wait. But once the doll is done, you dont have to wait long for delivery.

 

I ordered my Sard yesterday. 8D I was a little miffed because Soom suddenly didn't accept american express, but oh well. >_> I'm a patient person so I don't mind if he takes a while to ship. 8D He's worth it, omg. Those hooves...~drools quietly~

I concluded that the clothing would be easy to make. XD I like the idea of them, but not the price. The wings are nice but I'd rather have unique wings instead of wings that someone else could potentially have. I wonder how many Sards are going to be sold in total. Does anyone know how many Beryls were sold?

 

I can't wait to make my first payment on Sard. *shakes fist at himself for screwing things up yesterday*

But I feel a bit awkward. Am I the only one who isn't excited over the hooves? I don't plan to use them at all....

 

Well I have always been interested in anthro/animal dolls, so the hooves were a major selling point for me. XD If he had normal legs/feet I wouldn't get him. I like the rest of him, but I wasn't really ready for a new doll right now. >> But I couldn't resist those sexyyyy hooves. 333

Well I don't know if they do, but if it's discovered that they do I'd be happy to sell his hooves to you. I was going to try to do that anyway. Sard is going to be transformed into one of my Incubus characters, and no hooves on my brand of incubi. Plus I can't see myself ever making an anthro doll, and if I did it'd be a fox, cat or bat.

Unrelated note: You're a transman? Ha! I thought I'd be the only one here that was. Well, since most transmen (That I know anyway) tend to really worry about their masculinity. Too much to admit they were into dolls at least. But I'm far to gay to bother with hiding anything. *Swt* (I'm one of those "Why don't you just stay a woman if you're that gay!?!" Transmen. Also not saying you can't be a straight transguy and like dolls)

 

Do the hooves come pre-painted? >> I think they do, but if not I might try to find someone to do something other than brown as the color. I like brown, but as far as fur is concerned there are a LOT of other designs/patterns.

If people come into my house/room/apartment they're going to see my dolls, so I gave up on trying to hide them from anyone. XDD

XD Yeah...If people come into my room, it's alot more to hide. Plush dolls, Shoujo Manga, David Bowie action figures >_>;; It's a good thing I'm not out yet in public, (especially since I still live with my bible thumping parents) or else I'd get a lot of shtick about it from them.

 

Ahh, I didn't order body brushing either, so mine will also be blank. 8D That's good, since paying someone to take OFF color and then put more on is a lot more than just paying someone to put color on. XD

Aw, I am sure people will have Sards for sale soon. I know people buy limited dolls purely for re-sale value too. Orders might be canceled too, although I don't know how they do their ordering. If it's like ticketmaster than anyone with a Sard in their cart takes up supplies. If not, it's people who have paid for their doll.
